(y/n) was in Ran's home office, sitting on his lap as he did his work. It was the weekend so he was finishing up some things. She watched as he signed paper after paper.
"I'm thinking of getting of getting a new car, what do you say?" he asked her, his arm wrapped around her waist.
(y/n) pondered for a moment before shaking her head, glancing at him, "don't you have enough cars already? The garage is full of them!" She says.
Ran chuckled, resting his head on her shoulder and sighing in content, "there's no such thing as having too much, dear." He told her.
It was morning and she had woken up to empty bed with no husband by her side. Curious, she slipped off the bed and tugged the silk purple robe on her, walking out the bedroom and into the home office to see if was there, and lo and behold, he was.
(y/n) stood up from his lap, moving around the desk, "I'll be in the kitchen making breakfast when you're done." She pecked his lips. He nodded, watching her leave him with a sigh.
By the time he was done, Ran got up from the chair with a stretch, grabbing his cup of coffee he made earlier and heading downstairs to the kitchen.
Before even entering, the fresh smell of bacon, eggs, and toast wafted through the air, causing his stomach to grumble. He took a seat on the dining table, smiling lazily as his wife served him his meal and a new cup of hot coffee, "thanks, baby." He smacked her ass, earning a yelp from her and reddened cheeks.
(y/n) filled her own plate before taking the seat opposite him, "let's have a lazy day." She suggested, glancing at him.
Ran smiled, drinking his coffee, "anything for my princess." He told her smoothly, watching her suppress a smile.
Once breakfast was over and they cleaned up and changed into a fresh pair of clothes, they headed to the couch for some downtime.
Putting the tv on, they decided on what movie to watch before choosing a comedy. The couple got comfy on their extra large sectional sofa.
(y/n) was braced against the couch with her legs rested on Ran's lap, his hands rubbing the skin idly.
It was a good idea to stay home since they always go out to fancy places like restaurants or diners or expensive clothing outlets. They just wanted to have a break from all that and just relax.
"what the fuck is this cheesy movie?" Ran chuckled, propping his arm on the armrest, "it makes no sense."
(y/n) rolled her eyes, smiling, "it's not supposed to make sense! That's why it's a comedy, duh!"
"the circus has comedy." He remarked, grinning at her.
"the circus is full of clowns. I don't like them." She huffed. She was terrified of clowns and their paint-covered smiling faces.
Ran laughed, "I still don't understand what's so scary about them."
(y/n) gave him a look of disbelief, "they're silent and they don't talk!" She huffed, flicking his forehead.
Ran stopped laughing, giving her an eerie smile as he began creeping up on her and before she knew it, his fingers were tickling her sides and stomach, causing her to scream loudly as she laughed, kicking her legs in the air and flaying around to avoid his sneaky fingers.
"r-ran...! stop..! I can't breathe!!!" she choked out, her stomach hurting as he finally stopped, chuckling at her reddened face from laughter.
He sat back up, simultaneously pulling her on his lap so she was facing him, straddling his body.
The movie was long forgotten.
(y/n)'s fingers traced his large tattoo that covered his entire left side. He was shirtless, only wearing a pair of grey sweatpants. She wondered if it hurt.
Ran watched her silently, his purple hues hooded and dark with indescribable emotion. He shivered at the sensation her fingers gave him as they traced the skull pattern.
She quickly glanced at him when a hiss escaped his lips, her fingers brushed against his nipples. He didn't want her to stop.
She continued mapping his body with her hands, rubbing them up and down slowly on his muscles to his pecs and finally his abs. She could feel how firm and lean he was. His shoulders were wide and broad.
"so handsome." (y/n) mumbles, enough for him to hear. A smirk decorated Ran's face, a feeling of pride and egoism filling him.
"and all for you." He murmured in her ear.
She embraced him, snuggling her face into his warmth with her hands resting on the back of his head. She closed her eyes, feeling him reciprocate her actions, "how did i find someone like you?"
Ran chuckled deeply, leaning down so his lips touch her ear, "the better question is, how was I lucky to find you first?" He couldn't imagine a live without (y/n). It felt almost nonexistent and to think if he hadn't met her that fateful day at the club, she could've been someone else's and that irked him. It sent jealousy right down to his chest. She was his. She belonged to him alone and no one else.
"i found it funny when you used to follow me around everywhere i went scaring the guys away from me when they tried to approach me." (y/n) reminisced with a fond smile on her face, "i couldn't date anyone because of you." She chuckled.
Ran chuckled, pulling one side of her t-shirt down and kissing the exposed skin, "as it should be. I'm the only one for you, doll face." He mumbled with a smirk.
"oh?" She quirked an eyebrow at him, running her nails through his black and purple hair. He nodded with a lazy grin.
"you're such a cocky yet handsome bastard." (y/n) mumbled, her cheek flushed against his chest, hearing his calm heart beat.
"only for my baby." He flirted.
When lunch arrived, Ran helped (y/n) to make sandwiches for them before finishing up their movie.
The two were now on the living room floor, playing a sexy board game for couples.
The older haitani rolled the dice, counting the number of squares before landing on a pink one, he read the instructions, "stare into your lover's eyes for three minutes."
"okay, that's not bad." (y/n) giggled, "I'll have you know, i don't think i can last three minutes."
Ran rolled his eyes with a smile. The two of them set the timer before staring into each other's eyes.
The living room was quiet as they gazed at each other, taking in each other's different colored hues with passion and love.
(y/n) always thought her husband's eyes were a beautiful and unique shade of purple. She never saw anything like it. The way it glimmered like an amethyst jewel in the sun but his shined even brighter. She wanted to bury herself in them and the fact those hues will be the only ones staring at her, made her feel loved.
Ran loved his wife's (e/c) hues very much. They were like a story waiting to be told and heard. If he had to say, her eyes were his galaxy and he wanted to get lost in them forever. He wanted to wake up every morning and see them staring back at his and only then he'll know that she isn't a dream and that she's with him everyday till the day she dies.
A/n: this was a little sweet chapter between the two!
