BEEP!!!! BEEP!!!! I look over at the clock in a haze its 5:15 am.... Great I love getting up at the crack of dawn to go bust tables for ungrateful people. I get up yawning while dragging my feet to the little kitchen to grab some milk. Yup no coffee, I've always disliked coffee more of a milk person it's cold and its a shock to my warm sleepy body. After my morning glass of milk I go to my bathroom, wow I look like shit. Can my hair stick up even bigger? Ughhhh, turning the shower on to blazing hot to the point where it turns my skin bright pink and shake off my pj's and step in. God this heat feels good on my tight muscles. I grab my shampoo and scrub my head like no tomorrow then start to shave everywhere, after rinsing my hair from conditioner and shampoo, while scrubbing my body with my lofa I step out of the shower. I head to my room to dry off and put on my flip flops cut off jeans and my tank. I head to the other bedroom after checking the time as it reads 6:00.

I open the door quietly to see if Braden and Summer are talking to each other in their baby language that they have. I hear Braden scream in delight while watching his sister makes funny faces, both of them standing up in their cribs. A huge smile pops up on my face watching my two baby's talking to each other. I went to the doctor after passing out on the toilet at Mick's Bar and Grill to see what was happening to my baby to find out there wasn't just one little guy in there there was two. I almost had a cow when I found out. But I got used to the idea and now here we are almost 2 years later doing better than ever all three of us together and healthy. I moved back to Mt. Juliet about a year ago and started to work at this little place called Sussie's diner. Sussie is a really nice old lady who loves Braden and Summer like her own grandchildren. I get them 2 ready to go to work with me, grate thing about the place is they have a little spot where they can stay and play and I don't have to pay for day care.

We drive in my SUV, yes I upgraded from my beat up bug when I had the twins. More room and safer too. I pull in to a empty lot besides Sussie's car. Grab the twins and everything I need and heed into the diner. "Harper is that you?" I hear Sussie shout from the kitchen. "Yes it's me, I'm going to put the kids in the play area then come help you get ready for the day." I yell back. I put them in the play area and heed back to help her. "Hey Harper I was wondering if you wanted to move into the apartment above the diner so you don't have to drive so far and you would be here if something happened to the place rents free I know its hard being a single mother with twins. Bless your heart you are a angle sent from Heaven we need more people like you." She says with a smile and I blush, I try to do everything I can for my baby's and no rent would help so much. "Okay Sussie we'll move in if you want us to." She walks over and gives me hug while saying, "Thank you so much you guys can move in tomorrow if you want I can give you a day off." "Okay." And we leave it at that and get ready for the morning rush. It's 12 o'clock by the time I look up to the clock, my feet are killing me and I have a ache in my neck too. "Hey Harper some hot cowboy is in your section, go ask him what he wants."

One of the waters Sarah calls over to me. I heed over to the table not looking up from the pad saying "Hi my names Harper and I'll be your waitress today, have you decided what you want to drink?" Never looking up from the notepad. "Yes ma'am I do, I'd like to have a sweet tea if that's not a bother." I freeze when I hear the mans voice. Holy shit that can not be him, I look up startled to see that the man under that hat is the man I ran out on about 3 years ago crying my eyes out. I just keep staring like a doe caught in headlights. "Ma'am is there a problem?" He ask so sweetly that it melts my heart. I see both of my angles eyes looking back at me with no recantation at all. I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding in. He doesn't remember me that's good.

I smile and say calmly and as sweetly as I can "No sir I just thought that you were someone I knew I'll be back with your drink and then you can tell me what you want for lunch." Then I walk back to the kitchen to get his drink. As I walk back to give it to him I see that he's on his phone so I set it down and turn to leave. I feel a hand grab my hand and I feel that spark again like I did the first night we met and the first night of the rest of my life. "Hey Mike I'll call you back with the details of my horses later. Okay?" I hear a okay from the guy too and Austin hangs up. He looks up to me and says "Ma'am I'd like to have cheeseburger and some fries please." "Okay" and I walk off got his food, gave it to him and went to wait on more tables.

I hear the door bell chime and have a feeling who just walked out that door so I look up and sure enough it was Austin and he finally left. I heed over to his table to grab his bill and start to clean up. Holy shit! He left a $1,000 tip!! I pocket the money thinking this guy much be rich as hell throwing money like this around. I start to clean up the table and grab the cup that had his sweet tea in it and look down to see that a napkin had writing on it. I grab it and read these simple words that scared and thrilled me at the same time. 'Dear Harper, First I never even got your name till today when you gave it to me. Harper.. I like that name a lot it suits you. Yes I remember who you are your the lady from that night. The night that changed my whole life for the good. You left before I even got your name and you never even got the money for college either.' I see that there's a arrow pointing to the back so I flip it over to read the rest, 'I tried to go back to the club that you worked at to see you but the owner said that you quit your job and left town. I know you were lying when you said you thought I was someone you knew. You knew who I was before you even looked up from the notepad. I am looking forward to seeing you every day for lunch. I have a liking to this little diner. Harper don't run from me again this time. I already lost you once and I don't want to again. Till next time sweets.' I have no clue how to respond to that besides how in the hell am I going to keep my baby's a secret from their daddy when they look just like him?
