Christa's P.O.V:

I still dream about that day. Still awake with sadness in my heart.

"Mother. Where could you be?" I whimpered, trying to wipe away all my spilling tears that just can't seem to stop.

I know she's still alive, out there somewhere, If she was dead, I would've sensed it. Eva. Eva McCoy. My children tell me she was a miraculous doctor, for humans, animals, for even the plants I call my children. Of course I respect the elder trees as well.

Winter just began a few weeks ago, Here in Germany. Even though it's cold, and my children lost their leaves, It's still beautiful.

I couldn't sleep because of the dream from time to time. I couldn't let anyone find out who I really am, And what I am.

A mutant. Just like my mom, and dad. Wherever he might be.

The animals found me when I was a baby, and took me in, raising me, helping me survive. I've lived in the outside world all my life. I'm 7 years old. I'm very smart. Thanks to the plants and elders.

I felt something big and soft nuzzling my side, It was my dear friend, Trico. He's a Guardian. The last of his kind. He's lived for many centuries. He's still in a young age.

I rescued him from being captured and taken to the black market. "Hey there, bud. I'm sorry if I woke you again." I apologized.

He purred, nuzzling me again. He always knew how to make me feel better with his cuddliness. "I'm gonna find some food. Just wait here, Okay?" I tell him, with a caring motherly tone.

He groans in concern since it's still night out. "I know, Trico. But I'll be careful. Plus, none of the animals see us as prey. They've even helped kept us hidden over the years. I'll be fine." I reassure him, petting his snout.

I left the big hidden cave we lived in, Finding food, and some wood for a small campfire.

I collected enough wood, and placed it in my ragged bag.

Yes, I may live in the wild, but I needed some dignity, Wearing wolf and bear fur skin, in respect of my dead friends. The wolf fur skin as my top, hood, And small cape, my plant and human hair pony tail sticks out. and bear fur skin as my short pants with an attached skirt, Luckily my vine tail sticks out.
