So basically, I now for sure knew that Josh wanted me back. What was I going to do? Trust me I had no idea, this was all so cute but was I going to take him back or not? It was a question of life time to me. I loved him, god no I was in love with him but I was just worried he will come around and break me like a promise again. I didn't know if I can make it though. 'There is always a bump in a road and it's just up to you if you let go of things you love or you keep them with you and fight for their safety. Let them be with you. No matter what you're going through.' the words in my head that I texted to Joshua this morning have echoed in my head. I was aware of how much he loved me. I was aware of how much I love him and so was I aware of needing him in my life. I needed to take him back, no matter what the bullets would take from me.
"Laura! Mila is here!" Mother called me. Just then I realized I was too much ataken back from this night. I rushed to the bathroom to quickly brush my teeth and put on the school uniform; black nylons, dark skirt with yellow logo of that school in the bottom and a white blouse. I didn't even know what to do with my hair so I just brushed them and let them flow.
As I ran downstairs with my packed things, my bestfriend has pulled me into a tight hug. I hugged her back and took the coffee my mother was doing for me. I waved her a goodbye and left to school with Mila. The walk was bit quiet. I wanted to tell her so badly about Josh but I felt like I couldn't I really couldn't. I felt so hurt even though I knew he loved me. I'd rather asked her about the exams. But she didn't reply to that question, what she actually said really suprised me.
"Where is Christopher?" She asked not even looking at me.
We were almost at the school when I stopped walking and caused her to do the same. "He's left to Brazil already. Why?"
"Nothing. I just haven't seen him around yesterday." She said and still not looking at me, she wanted to walk away but I grabbed her hand.
"What the hell is wrong with you, Mila?"
"Why should be anything wrong at all?"
"Because I know you ever since I was 2, Mi. I know when you are okay and when not. Don't play this game with me."
She then finally looked at me and I realized she was crying. I hated to see her like that. I sighed and pulled her into a hug. She instantly hugged me back and broke down crying. I wasn't asking about that anymore. I knew that she was hurt and that's why she asked me about Topher. He loved her obviously and he was always there to give her a talk when I couldn't. I just stood there and hold her tight. I started petting her head and comforting her. I really wasn't asking anymore because I knew that she would break down even more than that.
After a while she pulled away and wipped her tears off, smiled and looked stright in my eyes. "I'm sorry for this, Lau." She said with a gentle smile as she took a bit pause. "It's just that Max and I are going to break up, I guess." Mila was already totally calm which suprised me. I guess it was a little relief to get out with this to someone for her. But me? I was in shock!
"What? No. How is that possible?! You guys were just so happy else yesterday."
"It was just a mask so no one would notice, actually -" the school bell has cut her off as it rang. We were late. "Actually I have to go now, see you around."
I just nodded and hurried towards the school to pick up my books and head to my Math class. I almost forgot it was exchanged with the History one because of Mr. Greenwich personal reasons. And there were exams! I am in a total mess. I quickly hurried down the hall and made it to room E59 where my Math class was. I knocked at the door as I got to it and walked through.
"Hello, Ms. Jones. You are late. Can I get an explanation for your late arrival?" Mr. Lauren said. Gee, I hated that strict man but he was like the only hot teacher on here. Why the hell did he have to teach Maths?
