I wake up earlier than I would like-- guessing on the lack of sunlight outside, it must be before dawn. Stretching, I turn over in bed and come face to face with the Prince. "Oh." I smile when he binks, his gold eyes landing on me. "Good morning."
Sighing, he shifts in the bed to turn his body towards me. "Good morning, Princess."
I brush his locs back from his shoulder and slide my hand up to his neck, gently massaging my fingers through the hair at his nape. "You were in my dream last night."
"Finally," he grins. I stop and begin to pull back with a groan. He takes my hand and returns it to his neck. "What happened in your dream?"
"You really want to know?" He nods his head. "Well, I can't tell you but I can show you... if you would like." His eyebrows go up and the corner of his lips lift. I take that as permission for me to lean forward and with my hand still on his neck, I press my lips to him in a kiss.
"Mmm..." He pulls back to stare at me with a whisper of a smile on his lips. "If you keep kissing me like this, I will not be able to keep my hands off you and this bed will get bloody very fast."
"Maybe that's what I want," I giggle before glancing down at the bandage around his middle. "Is it any better?"
"No, but you can kiss me better."
