Prince Harry's POV

"harry breakfast" dad called

"coming" i said and made my way down to breakfast carefully as i was still healing from the injury from afghanistan two months ago. i had been shot and i had a broken wrist which healed faster than my gunshot wound. i saw food but i couldn't run to it

"i really want to get back to training" i said

"i know harry" mum said walking into the room im guessing to take me to the drs

"hi mum" i said giving her a hug she looked at camilla and gave her an evil look i had to hold in my laugh throughout breakfast then mum and i left and i smiled

"harry you know you about gave me a heart attack when you were shot in afghanistan i'm glade that the dr saved you over there" mum said

"i know mum me too and why do i have a feeling you have news to share" i said

"your grandmother invited the girl for a two week stay at buckingham palace where she will meet the family and join for a few events" mum said

"you mean the 2nd lieutenant from the american army who was stationed at the kandahar airfield" i asked

"yes her" mum said as we checked in for my appt. i sighed and closed my eyes as the flashback started

Flashback*

"2nd lieunent can you hear me" a women's voice asked

"where am i am i going to die" i asked disoriented as hell

"your safe now and your going to be just fine" the girl said

how did i get here what happened i woke up hours later in a hospital bed and the girl came in she checked my vitals

"2nd lieutenant i need your name for the records" she said

"are you clear mam" jared asked

"jared relax let the poor 2nd lieutenant do her job and its second lieutenant harry wales" i said

"thank you" she said after checking my vitals again before leaving

*end of flashback*

at least it wasn't of me getting shot like the last few nights my sleep has been interupted with that nightmare finally the check was done and i was cleared for minor PT but no abs yet ugh. at least we got home and i went to my room i didn't want to see anyone i found the whisky hidden in my underwear drawer and poured myself some. drinking it was only thinking of one glass which turned to two then to three and so on.

Cheyenne's POV

once we arrived at buckingham we were shown to our rooms i  had decided to change into my class a uniform

knock knock at my door

"come in" i said

"army girl you look so beautiful" grandpa said

"thank you but could you make sure my uniform is in regulation form" i asked which he did fixing a few things and then i was good to go i had put my hair in a bun and smiled as i grabbed my cover to go meet princess diana prince charles william and his new wife Kate

they showed me the meeting room where i stood along side my grandpa in army green to meet the royals minus Diana.

"hello" diana said coming right up to me and giving me a hug which i returned but wasnt sure i curtsied to prince charles william and kate

"thank you for saving harry" they said

"it was my job i didn't mind" i said

"still thank you and you can stay with me at kensington palace" Diana said of course and just as i turned back my grandpa fell back on the floor. i freaked out and went back to combat zone med.

"come on grandpa you've gotta live come on" i screamed as i continued CPR

"cheyenne stepback let the paramedics handle this you've done remarkably well" Diana said trying to yank me from him i tried to get free but willam holding me back too was harder.

"2nd lieutenant take a breath now he's in good hands" william said i relaxed a little

"get the poor girl a bourbon" prince charles said and william let me go and rushed for a bourbon as i collapsed crying on Diana's shoulder

"he is the only person i am close to he can't not know" i said as william handed me a glass of Bourbon

"she will stay with me and wills tonight" Kate said and diana nodded before passing me off and leaving with Kate i hope i wasn't intruding on them which i found out i wasn't. but still i felt like i was.
