Taehyung and Jungkook finally landed to Seoul after a long journey. They were welcomed wholeheartedly by their family. Jin literally ran towards Jungkook, engulfing him into a warm tight hug.
"Welcome back Kookie. I missed you."
"Thanks hyung. I missed you too."
"Hyung...you literally forgot about your baby brother." Taehyung pouted as he sulked. Jin cooed at him and hugged him too, before kissing him on his cheek.
"Aww, baby brother...welcome back home~"
"Eww hyung... don't kiss me."
"Shut up brat. It's just a kiss on your cheek. It's a brotherly affection. Got it?"
"Yeah yeah hyung....I get it." Taehyung playfully said, hearing his eldest hyung's words.
Meanwhile, Namjoon also came downstairs and welcomed them. He gave Taehyung and Jungkook a tight hug and then asked them about their trip.
"Hey boys. Slow down ok? You can ask those questions later...first let them get some rest." Mrs.Kim said as she gestured Taekook to go upstairs.
Taehyung opened the door for Jungkook to go inside. Taehyung unpacked his bag whereas Jungkook didn't. Taehyung didn't pay that much attention to it and was preparing to go to the guest room to shower but Jungkook stopped him.
"What's wrong hyung?"
"Taehyung, where are you going?"
"To the guest room..to shower. You can shower here...after unpacking."
"Wait this is practically your room so why–"
"Sorry hyung, I gotta shower quickly." Taehyung interrupted Jungkook and went away."
"What? Is he avoiding me again?" Jungkook thought as he began unpacking.
After a while Taehyung came back to his room and saw Jungkook drying his hair with the towel. He walked past him, not paying any attention and began packing his clothes into the suitcase.
"Hey, where are you going?" Jungkook asked, frowning as he was clueless after eyeing Taehyung's actions.
"I'm shifting my belongings to the guest room." Taehyung replied.
"Huh? This is your room so why are you moving out? I should be the one moving out!!"
"No hyung, I don't want you to move out. I want you to stay here, comfortably. And that's the reason I'll be staying in the guest room. I don't wanna bother you anymore.
"Plus it'll be hard to avoid you if we stay in the same room together. You said it's better for us to stay away right? I'll try my best to keep a distance between us." Taehyung thought as he continued packing.
"Hey Taehyung wait–you don't have to do this anymore. I'll move out, don't worry. You've done so much for me...and I can't take this for granted anymore. And I'm also sorry for yesterday!!"
"Hyung, I told you it's okay...you don't have to move out. I want you to stay here–"
"Then, you are staying here or not?!" Jungkook asked calmly, but Taehyung can sense that cold vibe in his tone so he agreed cuz right now Jungkook looks scary.
"Alright...as you wish." Taehyung sighed.
After arranging the clothes in the wardrobe, both got dressed up and went downstairs. Taehyung saw Hoseok sitting with his hyungs. Hoseok got up and jumped on him to welcome him like a best friend does. Hobi and Jin dragged Jungkook to Jin's room and started teasing him about his honeymoon trip but Jungkook just shaked his head 'no' when Hobi asked him if anything romantic happened at the trip.
