1-New students.

Beep Beep

Yaay, finally first day... If you can't guess, it was sarcasm.

 As always, I got up from bed, took a fast shower, and dress up in just baggy jeans, a white top, and a black jacket. I  brushed my teeth, hair, and head down with my school bag already on my back. I got a toast my mum made before she left for work and some money from the counter so I could buy something for lunch with a note wishing me a good first day.

I was already walking to school. As I lived only 10 minutes away I could see people already at the door. I don't know why but since we came out of covid and the closure of the other high school in the area, many people decided to move schools to mine. I don't know if that was a good or a bad thing but it will make my social anxiety worse for sure.

As usual, I head to the bench where my best friend and I usually meet up every morning. Alexandra was already there and damn, the girl had definitely a glow-up this summer.

"Hii Clarke!" She said standing and running towards me to give me a welcoming hug.

As I pulled back I could see both of us had big smiles from finally seeing each other after she had to spend the whole holiday at an art camp far from home. 

"Girl, you look great! What did that art camp do to you?!" I told her as a queue so she could start telling me how her whole summer went.

I could see she had a great time as she was talking passionately about all her experiences there. Not only did her physic change for a bit but his style was completely different.

All she used to wear were sweaters, she would have a million of them but never change from top clothes, with the exception of summer. Now, she has some sort of dark academia vibes going on. She was wearing a brown knit vest with a white shirt under it accompanied by wide-leg flared jeans and some black boots. Her hair was combed in two small ponytails with all the rest of her dark brown straight hair on her shoulders. She looked absolutely gorgeous, and I'm sure it is not my bisexuality talking.

"... so then Lyra, my best friend there, the one I told you that helped me find my style, told me she was moving school here!! Isn't it great!?" She said enormously excited.

"Yo, that's great. Where is she now??"I asked her. Lyra seemed like a good person and even though I'm anxious to meet her I'm also excited to know who is the girl Alex can't stop talking about.

"She is supposed to be in the principal office along with all the other new students. We can't wait here for Amy and then head back there to meet the new students if you want." She said with a brief hint of hope in her voice knowing well about my social anxiety. 

"Yeah sure..." I said hesitantly. I could do this for my best friend, right?

And then on time, I felt a pair of arms hugging me from behind. I know damn well that pair of little arms so I got up excited to properly hug my friend.

"AIMS! Oh gosh, I missed you king! where have you been??" I said stepping back to watch their face. 

"You know, here and there, traveling the world and meeting new people. I should present them to you. I'm sure you would get on well, They are also gamers like us! I would be there so you can't stress yourself. " She said excitedly before turning to face Alex.

"Hi Alex!" they said waving at the other girl with a shy smile. Amy and Alex aren't the best friends right here, they don't talk outside our little group. But they try getting on well because of me.
