2-First day of the last year.

"Squish Squish , Squish  Squish "

"Amy, I get that squishing coffees is your thing, but do you really have to say Squish every time you do it??" I said trying to suppress a laugh.

"Yes! It's amazing! Look how plain the coffee is now. It's even more straight than me and you!" And with the last comment I lose it, I couldn't suppress a laugh anymore and we burst out into a fit of laughs.

"Okay... I get it... Let's finish our coffee now, we have only 10 minutes before our next period." I said between laughs.

Both of us finished our coffee and headed to our first-period class that unfortunately, we weren't having together.

I had German first while they had economics. So yeah, you could say we had kinda opposite optatives. But guess who was in my class, right Clay and his new friends. He hadn't been one full day in this school and he is already one of the popular guys, how does he do it?!

As I was a little bit late, there were only a few sits left so I decided to pick the farther from clay&co. I opted for one besides a girl that seem to be nice. She was wearing an oversized black sweater with some grey rhombuses printed around her hip and a black skirt with brown boots.

"Hi, can I sit here??" I nervously said pointing to the sit beside her where she has already put her school bag.

"Oh yeah, yeah, sure." She said turning to me surprised but smiling later. She had short pink hair that falls nearly to her shoulder, dark blue eyes, some cute freckles, and a really nice eyeliner.

"I love your hair." I said without even thinking. So this is what they call a bipanic?

"Thanks, I'm Niki by the way. I just moved here from Germany." She with a big smile and a little flustered about the previous comment.

"Oh, that's so cool! So this class will be a piece of cake for you, Isn't it? Also, I'm Clarke. " I said giving her the biggest normal smile I could before the teacher entered the class. As she entered I don't know why but Niki shrunk in her place and started going quiet.

"Are you okay??" I said confused about the sudden change in behavior of the girl.

"Yes, yes, don't worry. I will tell you later about it. Let's just finish this class." She said with a nervous smile.

As Niki and I were picking up all our supplies to head to the next class I could feel someone ruffling my hair. "Hey, Clarky. The boys want to gather around for a ping-pong sort of championship at my place this afternoon. Do you want to show them how not to mess with us??" Clay said resting his hands behind my chair.

Clay and I have been playing ping pong together since we were little. Every Sunday our families used to meet up for lunch and clay and I liked to go play some ping pong in his basements while the adults talked. All that years of playing made us good at the game, but I haven't played in a while. When my mother had tubbo my father left us, so It was not the same and we stopped meeting up every week. We still share thanksgiving and Christmas but without him, it was not the same.

"Yeah, sure. I haven't played in a while though. But for the love of god stop calling me Clarky, you know I despise it." I said pushing him toward the door where his friends were."

"That will be depending on your position in this afternoon championship." He said with a grin finally leaving the class.

As we were finally going to exit the class, a voice sounded behind us. "Ey, Nikita, wait a second!" The teacher said approaching us, but Niki didn't seem to want to stop. When she reached us Niki was already gone so she turned toward me.
