10 years later. New York
Luther didn't bother to look behind him, he knew someone was watching him. It started three days ago when he booked a suite in Bings hotel owned by one of his childhood friends Stark. So it wasn't one of the flashiest hotel in New York but it was the only place that would be able to hide him from unwanted attention or it was supposed to.
Side stepping the pile of dog dunk on the side walk Luther quickened his pace, throwing his cigarette bud on the side all the while his ears were focused on the soft foot falls of the stranger behind him, the misty fog covering the whole of New York and the fact that it was now midnight made everything so much easier for him. His senses were more heightened then ever before and because of that he could finally make out the gender of his so-called-stalker.
Who would've known? Stretching out his arms, Luther let out a long groan not missing the fact that he heard a slight gasp coming from behind him. Smirking he tightened his scarf and moved faster, he could already see the corner of Shabbys bar coming into view and without out a seconds thought Luther quickly turned into the hidden alley between the bar and overgrown rose bush. Thorns scape against his leather jacket as he squeezed his big body between the hedges, if only my brothers could see me now, an image of his younger brothers flashed through his mind had him grinning. All five of them lounging on sofas laughing their asses off with pizza boxes laying around then over shadowing that the memory of his mothers dead body laying lifeless on the dirty pavement brought him back to reality.
Shit! Fists clenched tightly he could feel his claws slowly dig into his palms until the smell of his own blood clouded his senses and slowly his rage, beast was slowly reigning in. The sounds of running steps made the animal inside growl, damn. Almost forgot about you.
Just as the figure shadowed by darkness reached the edge of the rose bush, Luther reached out snatching the slender arm clad in a leather jacket, he slammed the female against the concrete wall.
The feel of her body in front of him almost made him groan. Fuck , I need to get laid.
Disgusted over how quickly his body had reacted to her made him growl.
"Who are you? And if you try to lie sweetheart, I'll be putting your ass on a silver platter." The fact that his head downstairs was anticipating she lie made him feel pathetic. "Speak!" He snapped.
A small whimper escaped her lips, slowly losing his patience he added more pressure against her arm
"Luther!" She cried.
Jumping away from her out of reflex, he collided into the rose bush behind him, thorns scraping his face had blood dripping down his forehead and cheek bones but he hardly took any notice because his source of attention was the idiot woman standing in front of him. She wasn't facing him yet but he didn't need her to anyways and unless there was some kind of miracle, the woman in front of him better start praying that she best not be who he thought she was.
"You had better not be Tanny Miller or I'll be beating your ass black and blue." His voice was so harsh, he didn't miss how her shoulders flinched.
Silence was his response.
"Unfucking believable!" He yelled. "Tanny! What the fuck are you doing in New York!"
