Anna placed the phone on her lap as she squatted on the floor.
The doctor walked out of the ward where Ivy was placed in before.
"Doctor, how is she?" Anna asked standing up abruptly with much carefulness as she could have fallen on stepping on her gown.
"She is fine, just a little bump on her head and her injuries have been taken care of. You just have to come with me to prescribe her drugs"
"Ok sir, thank goodness"
An hour later Ivy woke up and asked to be discharged immediately. Not that she hates hospitals but she feels weak being here.
The doctor had no choice but to discharge her and they walked further to the bus station.
"Ivy, Sir Jayden.... did you meet him?" Anna asked while the girl just nodded and sniffed in tears.
She had met him already. Anna concluded and flipped out her phone to check the time.
It was 5:00pm already and no one bothered to ask of Ivy. Is that not cruel?
"My bag"Ivy remembered and tapped Anna.
"What is it? Ah the notebook where is it?" Anna asked.
Ivy grabbed Anna's phone and typed quickly.
💬My notebook was in my bag and a thief has stolen it. All my things too
Anna gasped, sweat gathering on her forehead.
"I know someone who can help us find the thief within 2hours" Anna said. "He said all these thieves work under a certain person and stolen items get to him before nightfall"
Anna flagged down a taxi and paid the fare with her money.
By 6:00pm they got to the place.
A lady opened the door and when they tabled their report, she went to report it to her master.
"I have never even seen the guy's face. He wears a mask revealing just his red eyes but i presumed he was ugly" Anna said
The guy came downstairs with a weird black mask. It almost looked like halloween mask.
"The color of the bag, decription of the thief and an observable way in which he stole it" the guy said.
"She can not talk but pls can i get a book and pen or perhaps she could text u"
Anna said
"dumb right?"
Ivy bowed her head down. She would never forget her dumbness. Never! was this guy gonna chase them away
He walked over to his shelf and took out a book and a pencil
"Draw him" he commanded
"But young miss can not draw. I have never seen her draw before"
"Only If she draws , I will help you" he said.
