The meeting with him was still fresh in my head. A small girl approached me, her purple hair made up into buns gave her a unique look. With a smile she had asked me for me, she hadn't known that the person she was looking was speaking to her.
Upon telling her she smiled wryly, before apologising and telling me to come with her.
I followed her to where she wanted me to be, Tachibana senpai was here name. We got acquainted that day and she also introduced me to my most valuable asset till date. The student council president Horikita Manabu sat on a chair facing me.
"So you are Ayanokouji Kiyotaka?" He addressed me whilst eyeing me cautiously.
"Yes, who may you be?" I replied whilst posing him a question of my own.
"My name is Horikita Manabu, the student council president." He formally introduced himself in a regal manner before shifting his gaze to senpai. "Tachibana, please wait outside for a bit." He instructed and with a bow she complied. Not before sending me a curious glance.
Once she exited the room, silence had ensued which lasted for a minute. He pointed at a seat in front of him, knowing what he meant I took a seat on the chair and faced him.
"Is it true that you scored 50's on all your entrance exams intentionally?" He inquired whilst maintaining that same sharp gaze.
When I looked at him I saw his unbridled confidence. Those eyes of his told me that he would not take no for answer.
He had a unique aura of oppression and that was enough to make any other person squirm. Faced with his unchanging expression and undying confidence I decided to not fool him. If I tried or attempted to do so he wouldn't believe me.
"Well..." I began before I leaned forward. "Yes, I scored them intentionally." I confirmed flatly.
"Such a clever strategy to drag attention to yourself. Just how much did you know about the school education policy? But I think you figured it on your own." He said but he got it wrong.
"No, I didn't think this far ahead. You are reading too
much into this. I just want to live an ordinary life
and stay away from trouble." I responded to his observations honestly, vocalising my inner thoughts."I see..." He replied before he adjusted his glasses and narrowed his eyes at me.
"Are we done here?" I questioned him, he nodded no and I stayed put.
"Stand up Ayanokouji, I want to try something." He stood up from his seat and walked around the table to me.
He stood behind me and I turned to face him.
"Why are you doing?" I asked but no response came from him.
The wind rushed against my face, the foot of a man had narrowly missed my head. But he then pushed forward and ended up getting his hand on my arm.
He had launched a kick against me and it landed to the side, only hitting the air before he grasped onto me. His grip tightened, I shook him off and distanced myself from him. His attack caught me off guard but I didn't move against him.
"Ayanokouji, do you practice something? Your
muscles are quite developed for a Highschooler
who avoids trouble. Also your marks are a different
story. It seems like you are quite extraordinary." He spoke up after that altercation, praising me as if I was a trophy."Is that the reason why you did that?" I questioned him.
"More or less." He replied before a smile graced his face. "But referring to my previous question, do you practice something?" He continued.
