It was the end of summer. Only three days until school. His sophmore year.
"mum, do I have to go?"
"yes you do, why wouldn't you?"
"I really don't want to have have to put up with the new freshman."
"well sweetie I'm sorry, I really am but... you have to go. You will have to quit the band if you don't finish high school. We have already been through this." Louis had previously joined a band called One True Love.
"mum..." Louis stopped, thinking about what he was going to say next. should he stay in the band? Louis loves playing in OTL, but it has been becoming a distraction. With him being in the band he can't really focus on Samantha, his girlfriend. They have been dating since Louis was only 15. He loved Samantha, but something felt weird about them dating; he just didn't know what.
"mum... I think I'll stay in school. Maybe I'll even quit the band?"
"woah... slow down pumpkin, why don't you ask Samantha what she thinks about it. okay?"
Louis nodded.
"well wash up it's time for dinner," Louis' mum replied softly as if she was concerned about Louis quitting the band.
