One evening, Sara is on a stroll, not patrolling or anything, she's just relaxing. She loves to walk around the city when the only light is the moon, stars, and street lamps. She hears a crash in an alleyway as she walks by. Even if she's not patrolling, she's still an officer and has a duty to check it out. She slowly walks in the alley and sees fluffy white hair duck around the corner.

Oh, it's just Itto.

Once she realized it was just that silly oni she wasn't as tense, but she still followed him. She went around the corner and saw him hiding behind a stack of boxes. Sara decided to stay quite, she's a pro at this and Itto definitely didn't know she was there. The one thing Sara didn't catch on to is the tiny child quivering next to Itto. He was thin as a mouse and covered in dirt, though hard to see during the evening.

"Stay———back—a——Haru"

Is all Sara could make out of what Itto had just said. The Tengu takes in her surrounds a bit more and realizes they are right next to Kiminami restaurant. Just then Itto sneaks around the boxes and Sara gets the first glimpse of that sickly boy. Suddenly Itto swipes a slice of mushroom pizza (somehow with anyone noticing the huge oni) and returns to the child by the boxes. Sara can't hear what they're saying but Itto hands the tiny child the pizza and the kid runs off.

After Itto knows the kid is out of sight he starts to get up and turns to go back in the alleyway, sighing. But there was Sara, a Tenryou commissioner, who just saw him steal something. He stood still in the gaze of the Tengu, not knowing what was gonna happen next. They stare at each other for multiple, long seconds, calculating their next move. Until Sara stepped aside, leaned against the wall, sighs thoroughly and said something very unexpected for this justice server.

"Just-...leave before someone else catches you." She rolls her eyes and bits her tongue, not believing she just let this criminal off the hook.

Itto is stopped in his tracks "Is she really just- letting me go? Do we have similar views on something after all?

Somewhat deep thoughts for this usually silly oni, he has a fun and easy going exterior, but he also has his own views on what is or isn't justified. Like stealing for a starving kid. He ran out the alleyway and tried to play it cool as he walked back into the city dwellers view, eyeing the commissioner behind him as he left.

As Itto walks back to his granny's house his starts thinking (I know crazy right) thinking mostly about how he doesn't really know his jailer that well after all. He thought she was kinda a stick in the mud to be honest, he shrugs and he thinks about it. Following the rules to the exact even if sometimes they don't make sense, like when she took his vision. He's still salty about that actually. He wants to get to know this Kujou Sara. Not the one the public sees. Does he know why? Haha absolutely not.
