Lunch slowly but surely rolled around, currently both girls were in line for lunch, seeming as they had no time for their usual packed lunches, the school food wasn't that bad but no one would voluntarily eat it over something like a pizza.

They normally sat with Eddie Munson at lunch when he wasn't with the hellfire club but they were planning their last dnd game with Eddie, they decided to sit with Max Mayfield instead, she never really talked to anyone anymore after what had happened to Billy but she could always count on Robin and sometimes Nancy, Robin and the younger child had quite a strange relationship, they were like sisters.

"Hey Max!" Both of the older girls exclaimed.

"Hi Robin! Hi Nancy!"

"How's your day been?" The oldest girl asked

"It's been quite good, what about yours Nance?"

"Good enough, except from the fact I was cuddled up to this dingus while I was asleep."

"I bet you did that on purpose!"

"I did not!"

"Well at least admit you like Robin!"

"Max I don't like Robin, I'm being serious."

Nancy swore she could see a little bit of hurt on Robins face, she did like her it's just that she couldn't bring herself to admit it, she was her best friend after all.

"Mhm sureee, I've seen the way you look at her."

"Max come to the toilets with me."

"Whyyyy?"

"Cause I said so, come on!"

"Fine."

Nancy basically dragged the younger girl to the toilets.

"What did you bring me here for?"

"I think I'm having a crisis!"

"I knew it! You like Robin."

"I don't know if I do, she just gives me this weird feeling, I try to pull away but she just keeps reeling me back in!"

"You should definitely shoot your shot!"

"Just because she's lesbian doesn't mean she likes me, why would she even like me in the first place?"

"Okay we gotta work on not outing people, even though I already knew but she's totally in love with you Nancy!"

"She's not, she's my best friend, she probably likes someone from band or something, like Vickie."

"Nancy, you're perfect I think every single guy and girl in this school has liked you at one point, except from anyone in the party, well Steve and Robin have but anyway, just shoot your fucking shot, she's in love with you, you were literally her gay awakening!"

"How do you know she hasn't moved on? She couldn't have a crush on me for that long!"

"Nancy I literally talked to her about it last week, and you know when you came to pick her up?"

"Yeah, of course I do."

"I was in the store, Steve mentioned about Robin liking someone and she said she didn't like you then Steve said he never mentioned you or something then she finally came clean, she's totally in love with you."

"Fine, I'll say something at the party at my house tomorrow, I may as well get it over with."
