The new village

The Uzumaki meet

I left off with Naruto and his new friend Zaku getting ready to start going to the grass village but let's start somewhere else

Land of Grass 3 days prior

"Uzumaki you are to report to Tall Grass Watchtower for a mission" an Hidden Grass ANBU member said before vanishing

"Finally a chance out of this hellhole before more ninja come back" Karin said as she left the
field hut on the outer edge of the village

As she entered the Watchtower she entered to see everyone staring at her as she looked at the village leader of Kusagakure a tall aging man that was well known for his calm nature but ruthless changes as he fought though now he was aging and it was showing with grey streaks appearing in his hair known across the land as Ginseng the Grass Sage

"Good you finally arrived now let me explain what I've called you four for" Ginseng said

"You four have been called here for a new mission it'll be a B rank "

"You are to find a rogue ninja camp and kill a rogue ninja once from our Village named Toki. He is a high ranking Chunin that went rogue soon after starting to learning wind release and making his own ninja tools thinking that we will only hold him back past this. From info we've found he's only good ablitiy is his drill and master of underground ninjustu which is why this team was formed. From info we know he is currently in a genjustu Forest south of here after stealing from and killing a cousin of Daimyo. You are to find him and kill him and his squad before securing the area for capture by so we may find and retake the stolen treasure" Ginseng explained

"For this mission you have Shiba and Midori as leaders these two genin here are Muyami and Karin as you know they're sensors and Karin has fire style to counter his wind style" Ginseng explained

"now go and prove why we are still a hidden village" Ginseng finished as the group of 4 walked out

"Muyami Karin pack for atleast a week since they're in a genjustu forest it'll be a hard tacking though with Karin sensory ability I'm sure it will be much easier but can be more dangerous"

Back with Zaku and Naruto

The next Morning at the gate of the village

"So according to the map which way to the grass village" Zaku asked

"Should be to the northwest not to far away" Naruto said

"let's start" Naruto said as they went to Kusagakure

4 Hours later

"Hey you sure this shortcut going to work" Zaku said as they were walking in the forest

"I'm certain it's just a bit of forest no reason for us to avoid it with me here" Naruto said smiling as they continued to walk through the strangely misty forest

With Grass Shinobi

"We're on the edge of the genjustu forest now Karin it's your turn" Midori said

"Fine" Karin said as she put her hands into the rat handsign

"Mind Eye of Kagura" Karin thought as through the whole forest she got a mental image but it didn't look good

"Captain There many charka signatures in the forest the biggest one is to the southwest by himself in the east though there's a group of relatively high charka signatures around chunin level then to the far northeast I sense many faint charka signatures" Karin explained

"Let's first capture the one by himself then check with those faint ones it could be a group of merchants" Shibi said

"Agreed now you Muyami go and find those faint charka signatures and figure out who they are If you sense anybody with a high charka level coming close you should immediately retreat to us underground after that we're join you for a debrief" Shibi said
