First Year.

Andromeda James Black walks down the platform,striding confidently as she sneered towards muggles. "Now remember Andromeda, Only Slythrine will do." Walburga Black says as she strides next to the short girl. Andromeda turns her head, her unruly black curls turning with her. She smiles at her grandmother. "I know grandmother. I promise I will be in Slythrine." Andromeda says, this makes her grandmothers eyes shine with pride. "Very good. Now be on your best behavior, never show weakness, hang out with Draco of course." Walburga lists off. "Of course grandmother." Andromeda says. "And do well. Don't let anyone be mean to you because of your bloodtraitor father. You'll win flies with honey, but if you get yourself a bee...." Walburga starts. "Sting first." Andromeda states. "Very good. Now be off before you make me cry." Walburga says jokingly. "You never cry grandmother." Andromeda reminds. "Oh yes." The women says. Andromeda boards the train and starts looking for an empty of at least room enough for her. She searches for a while until she comes into one that has no one in it. Andromeda sits down as she takes her black owl out of her cage. Her owl is called Métis. "Oh your so pretty Métis. Such a pretty bird." Andromeda coos at the owl. Métis hoots happily while nuzzling onto Andromeda's finger. The door of Andromeda's compartment slides open, Andromeda turns her head to see a boy with messy brown hair and emerald eyes. "Oh hello. Every where else is full, can I sit here?" The boy asks. "Sure." Andromeda says. The shaggy boy sits down and reaches his hand out. "I'm Harry Potter." The boy says. Andromeda's eyes widen. "Are you really?" She asks. He nods. Andromeda shakes his hand. "Andromeda James Black." She says. Harry's eyes widen. "Andy?" He whispers. "Yes?" She asks. Harry pulls a book out of his bag. He hurriedly flips through the pages and stops on a page suddenly. Harry flips it to where Andy can see it. Andy's eyes widen. She sees herself as a baby, hugging another baby. "It's me and you. As babies. We were bestfriends. We're both named after my dad." Harry says. Andy's eyes widen. "I didn't know that. Uncle Prongs." She says. Harry smiles. "Yes." He says. All the memories come flooding back. Her father, the Potters. She pulls Harry into a hug. "I've missed you Harry." Andy says. Harry smiles into her embrace. "Ditto, Andy." He says. "Where did you vanish too? Hagrid told me that we were supposed to always be together." Harry asks. Andy's eyes sadden. "The night it all happened, we were visiting my cousin. My father didn't know my grandmother was there. She told him that the dark lord was at your house Harry. He ran out as soon as he heard it. He left me there, forgetting what he left,with his evil mother." Andy tells Harry. Harry's eyes widen. At that moment another boy slides the door open. "Everywhere is full, mind if I sit?" The ginger boy asks. "Sure." Andy says. "I'm Ron Weasley." The boy says. "Andromeda Black." Andy says. "And I'm Harry Potter." Harry greets. Rons eyes widen and he goes from looking at Andy wide eyed to Harry. "Your Harry Potter? And Andromeda Black the second? Oh Merlin you two are famous." Rom fan girls. "Why has everyone been acting that way today?" Harry sighs. "Today? It's been my whole life." Andromeda says. "Oh Ron, by the way call me Andy." The girl says. Ron nods. "You two are famous. Harry you defeated he who must not be named. Andy your the most powerful witch to ever be born. Especially with who your mo-" Ron starts. "I have no mother Ron." Andy fits in. Ron shrivels down into his seat. "Sorry." He mutters. "It's fine. Just a sensitive topic." Andy says smiling at the scared boy. The boy brightens up a bit. "What houses do you want to get into?" Ron asks the pair. "Personally I think I'll be in Gryffindor, my whole families been in it." Ron explains. "I don't know yet." Harry says. The boys turn to the girl who is looking at her feet. "What about you Andy?" Ron asks. "I have to be in Slythrine, it's not an choice or desion. It's a statement. If I don't I will be burned off the tree like father." Andy says glumly. "Oh Andy. I hate pureblood families like that. Who expect you to carry on their evil lineage." Ron says. Andy nods. "I don't want to disappoint my grandmother. Soon I won't have anyone to disappoint." Andy says. "Your grandmother is an evil women." Ron says. "Yes, but she took me in when my father abandoned me, she raised me. And I never want to disappoint her. Ever." Andy says seriously. Ron nods. "I guess it's kinda like that with my family. I feel like if any of us were put in Slythrine mum and dad would be disappointed but wouldn't disown us." Ron says. Andy nods. "It's not the same though." Andy says. Ron takes her hand. "I know." He says while smiling at her. Harry stares at the two with a jealous look on his face. Suddenly Métis flies down from the luggage shelf and lands on Andy's shoulder, scaring Ron, who scoots away from the bird and Andy, making Harry smirk. He likes this bird. "Oh ron, don't be scared. This is Métis, she's very lovely." Andy says as she pets the bird. Harry sits in the empty space between Andy and where Ron scooted away. Harry reaches up and pets Métis. "Hello Métis. Your very pretty." Harry coos at the bird. Métis hoots happily while Harry pets her. Andy smiles at the interaction. Ron smirks as Harry and Andy smile at each other. The door slides open. "Hello? Have any of you seen a toad? A boy named Neville has lost one." A bushy haired girl says, already in her robes. "Oh dear I haven't." Andy says. The boys both shake their heads. "Here, Harry will you watch Métis?" Andy asks. "Sure." He says. Métis flies to Harry's shoulder. One moment Andy's in her purple robes, the next she's in her hogwarts one. "That was brilliant. You've got to teach me how to do that." Ron says. Andy smiles at him. "Sorry Ron, it isn't my wizard blood that allowed me to do that. It's my Mikelson blood." Andy says. Ron's jaw drops. "That's bloody amazing." He says. "Hello. I'm Hermione Granger." Hermione sticks her hand out to Andy. "Andromeda Black." Andy says. Hermiones eyes widen. "Your the most powerful witch to ever be born." She says. Andy sighs. "Yes that is me." Hermione smiles. "You take that side of the train and I'll continue this way." Hermione says. Andy nods. "Alright. Boys I will be back later." Andy says as she turns to the boys. They nod and Andy starts looking for a toad. Anytime Andy would open a compartment she either got ignored, or simply told no. She came upon one compartment and opened it. "Excuse me have any of you seen a toad? A boy named Neville had lost one." Andy says once again. "Andy!" A voice cheers. Andy looks up and meets the eyes of her cousin. "Dray!" Andy cheers and pulls the boy in for a hug. "Draco? Who's this?" A rather big built boy asks. "Oh right. Crabbe, Goyal, Blaise, and Pansy, meet my cousin Andromeda Black." Draco says. Andy waves at them all. "Like Andromeda Black the not powerful witch ever born?" The boy called Blaise asks. "Yes." Andy says. "Andromeda is it? I think I saw the toad in the girls bathroom." The girl called pansy says. Andy smiles at her. "Thank you pansy." Andy says. "See you later dray." Andy says as she waves at everyone. They all wave back. Andy makes her way to the bathroom and finds the toad on the floor. "Hello little one. Your not supposed to be here. Suddenly the train came to a stop. Andy picks the toad up and puts him in her pocket. "We'll find Neville together alright?" Andy says to the toad who seems very comfortable in the girls pocket.
