❝It's so warm. . so this is what it feels like to have someone whom you can depend on, huh?❞---
It was a snowy night as a girl about the age of 10 was seen, walking through the empty streets of Shibuya, along with a very small figure of a 3 year-old boy wrapped in a thick, comfortable jacket and scarf to protect his tiny, fragile body from the coldness of the winter night.
The empty streets of Shibuya was decorated with patches of snow, the trees and its plants were covered by the white powder of snow, rendering it beautiful.
Along with the bright twinkling stars above the sky, truly, it's a very beautiful winter night of the Christmas season in this year of 2000.
This certain girl trudging through the dark, snowy streets, had a very unique hair color; her hair is mostly white but there are some black streaks and highlights at some parts of her hair, and grey eyes that looked so very blank but at the same time, there was a little spark of hope reflected in it.
Her outfit is just simple; a white oversized shirt that is slightly dirtied, baggy red trousers that covers her bare feet. It was just plain obvious how she's currently having a very difficult time in this current situation.
Even still so, despite her little, fragile body, and the fact that the girl was carrying something in her back and holding the hand of the boy who was trying to keep himself awake—she continued on, no plans of collapsing here at the middle of the snowy streets where danger could come and befall on to them.
The white-black-haired girl was carrying her other brother who opted to sleep on her back, trying to carry his body while carrying a small bag of necessities for the three children on her front. And while the boy whose hand she was holding decided to walk with his sister, not wanting to burden her any further by adding weight because of being carried.
Both boys are about the age of 3, and contrasting to their older sister who is shivering in her outfit that isn't even doing a decent job in protecting her from the cold temperature, the two boys were wrapped up in a nice, comfortable thick jacket to provide them warmth.
"—(Y/N)-nee. . I'm hungry. ." The girl whom was called as (Y/N) had stopped on her tracks to take a look at her other brother, whom she was holding his hand; her black-haired brother who's named as Riku held a look of discomfort in his features as he patted his other tiny hand on his belly, telling his older sister that he's hungry at this point.
(Y/N) looked around her and saw that all the shops in the shopping district in Tokyo are already closed; it's already dark and the gradually lowering temperature isn't even helping.
And so, with one scrawny arm expertly balancing her sleeping brother Sora behind her back, (Y/N) momentarily let go of Riku's hand to shoved her hand in the pocket of her baggy red trousers, and when she took out her hand, only a few coins and one paper bill was seen in her hand. At the sight of the small amount of money in her palm, (Y/N) frowned and let out a small sigh, knowing that this won't be enough to buy herself some food; not to mention, the milk powder and her brothers' food are almost gone—which all priced so high that this small amount of money won't be enough to buy them a meal.
