Take All Of Me

                     ~Jade's P.O.V~

After getting cleaned up Jay and I walked out of the room one at a time in hopes not to draw too much attention to us. I walk down the stairs covered with people I don't recognize finally hitting the bottom  "Jade!" Charlie puts his arm around my neck "Hey Charles" I giggle knowing he hates that name "You're horrible to me and I do nothing but love you." He says putting his hand over his chest and pretending to be offended "Yeah, yeah. Where's Ian?" I question, Charlie smirks nodding over to a girl who was glued to Ian's face. "Oh.. well okay then." He raises an eyebrow at me "You jealous?" I roll my eyes swatting his chest with the back of my hand "No but he usually isn't into the casual hookup thing." He sighs with a shrug "Well I think he's just trying to distract himself." I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.. what would he need a distraction from? "Hey, have you seen Jay? Taylor was asking for him." I raise a curious eyebrow "Taylor as in his ex? Why would she look for him?" He smirks shaking his head "They hook up now and then so that's probably what it was." I take a deep breath doing my best to calm my nerves before plastering a fake smile across my face.

"Well okay, I'm gonna go get a drink while I wait for Ian." I walk over to the drink table grab the vodka and pour myself two shots worth into a solo cup. I throw back the drink feeling  the cool liquid burn my throat "You know drinking alone is a bummer." I nod looking up at Tom "Yeah but I'm ready to call it a night so I'm just having a few more before heading home." He nods putting a cup down in front of me "Then I'll sit with you for a while." I pour the drinks out for him and me, we clink our cups letting out quick  "cheers" before throwing the drink back. "You know I'm not gonna tell anyone about you and Jay." He says still making a face from the liquor. "I know Tom you've always been a good one." He pours us two more shots giving me a small smile "Just don't hurt my brother, he went through a lot of shit before you so he's gonna be relearning and unlearning things." I slowly nod and take the shot with him.

"Tom, why is Taylor here?" He shrugs giving me an apologetic smile "You know she went to college with us all so it's only natural... Jade don't worry about anything he wouldn't do that to you." I sigh knowing it's just in my head, I run my finger around the rim of the cup "Jade, why don't you want anyone to know? Is it because you're scared people with disapprove or is it because you want to keep your options open?" I shoot my gaze up toward Tom's in surprise that he'd ask me something so.. hard to answer. "To be honest I think it's a bit of both." He furrows his eyebrows leaning back against the table "So you don't think you and my brother will make it?" I shrug "Honestly Tom I've been through shit too and I've never been someone's first choice, you know that first hand so excuse me for having some doubts."  He rubs the back of his neck keeping his gaze on the floor "I told you I was sorry." He mumbles shaking his head "I know but I never said I forgave you."

His gaze shoots up to mine "So you've just hated me this whole time?" I playfully push him before grabbing the bottle and pouring us a couple more shots."I don't hate you, I think we were both young and stupid." He smiles clinking his cup against mine "We have our little secrets and I like that. He smirks taking the shot "Ancient history." I say pounding back the shot "Honestly always thought Ian would get to you first." He sighs "Just be honest with Jay if you have doubts, he'll be honest with you about whatever you ask." I feel a bit of relief at his words but the small ping of insecurity still sticks with me.  "Well, either way, it goes I'm glad that you at least know the truth, you know how much it ate at me-" "What ate at you?" Ian pops up from the side of us making me jump "Um nothing it's not important, are you by any chance ready?" I question "yeah I was coming over to ask you the same question, you disappeared for a while." I nod nudging time a bit giving him a small hint.
