David Gahan is a British 60-year-old former University student. He was formerly part of the 1980s Zodiac heroes. His spirit form is a green and brown dragon.

Appearance

Dave is an elderly man with short brown hair, brown eyes and light skin. His casual wear consists of a black shirt over a black jacket, blue jeans and black shoes. He stands on 5 ft 10 and is of average build. In his spiritual state, his eyes glow white. His spirit form is a green and brown dragon.

History

Early Life

Dave was born as David Callcott on the 9th of May 1962 in the UK. She is of British and Malaysian descent. His parents divorced when he was 6 months old and his mother remarried. Dave had a life of crime as a teenager and was Curt's crime partner when he first came to Cambridge before becoming a Zodiac hero.

1980s Era (Jerry's Era, later Roland and Curt's Era)

Dave joined the 1980s Zodiac heroes while beginning his 1st Year after Curt and Roland. After noticing that Curt has changed his ways since he was a Zodiac hero, he decided to change his ways too with Curt as inspiration.

Volume 7 (Zach's era, post-storm era)

Dave and some other Zodiac heroes were having problems with their powers. So they reunited in Wales to find the healer.

When the present-day team arrived at Wales, they bumped into some other 80s Zodiac heroes who were seeking the healer, known as Tom. After their appointment with the healer, the woke up at the side of a castle. Then, they went to Aimee's inherited house where they had a battle with a corroded Andrew. Curt injured his ribs in the battle after defeating Andrew so the Zodiac heroes went back to Cambridge and were suspended from missions for a month.

Personality

Dave is stubborn and rebellious and has a similar personality to Curt. He is also caring and sometimes overprotective towards Martin due to height differences. Dave sometimes displays a personality of a tiger, the national animal of Malaysia.

Etymology

(First name) The name David has deep Biblical roots and means "beloved." It is derived from the Hebrew name Dawid, which evolved from the Hebrew word dod (beloved). In the Bible, David is an important figure and appears as the Old Testament second king of Israel.

(Last name) Gahan (and its variant Gahame) is a surname with several different origins. One origin of the surname is from a reduced form of McGahan, which is in turn an Anglicised form of the Irish language Mac Eacháin, meaning "son of Eachán".
