"Trim that sail." "Slack windward brace and sheet," Barbossa instructed the crew of the Black Pearl. "Trim that sail. Slack windward brace and sheet!" Jack said, repeating Barbossa's order. "Jack, what are you doing?" Y/n asked, confused, but he simply ignored her and went after Barbossa. She simply had to follow him so that he wouldn't cause a fuss. "Haul the pennant line," Barbossa said, giving another order. "Haul the pennant line!" Jack said, again repeating the same order as Barbossa.

Barbossa noticed that Jack was repeating every order he had said and rolled his eyes. "What are you doing?" Barbossa asked him. "What are you doing?" Jack asked him back. "No, what are you doing?" Barbossa asked. "What are you doing?" Jack called back again. "No, what are you doing?" Barbossa asked again, with annoyance. "What are you doing?" "Mmm, the captain gives orders on the ship," Jack said to him.

"Oh god, they're fighting over who's captain?" Y/n thought. "The captain of the ship is giving orders," Barbossa said to Jack. Jack gave an "oh" expression but then said, "My ship, makes me captain," he told Barbossa. "They be my charts," Barbossa said, showing off the chart in his hand. "That makes you a 'chart man,'" Jack said to him. "Gents, the reality is we both have great captains. Why can't you two work together?" Y/n asked the both of them. They glanced her way and back to themselves.

Barbossa was about to say something, but Pintel interrupted, "Stow it! The both of you! That's an order! "Understand!?" he yelled at the two captains. Y/n gave a surprised expression and burst out laughing at the two captains' reactions, for no one had ever dared to shut them up. Pintel realized he was in deep trouble and chuckled shyly, "Sorry. I just thought, with the captain's issue in doubt, I'd throw in my name for consideration, "he said to Jack and Barbossa. Pintel stepped aside, apologized again, and went back to work.

Jack and Barbossa were shoving against each other as they were going up the stairs on the ship. "Honestly, how childish." Y/n simply shook her head as she followed them up the stairs. Cotton was taking the wheel, and Y/n saw Jack and Barbossa stand side by side. Jack was in a leaning position, minding his business. Y/n watched their childish feud once more. It started when Barbossa drew out his telescope. Jack stared at him and his telescope and simply smirked.

As Jack smiled by drawing out his telescope, his was smaller than Barbossa's. As Y/n witnessed this, she couldn't help but grin, for it was too good. "I'm afraid his is bigger," Y/n whispered to Jack as she saw him struggling to make his telescope bigger. Barbossa also couldn't help but glance at Jack as he simply put his head down and walked away. "Poor Jack, it looks like I'll have to cheer him up." Y/N chuckled as she went down the stairs and continued down below to find something.

"Ah, here it is." Y/N found it. She was below deck and found some rum to cheer up Jack, but before she could leave, she saw Elizabeth sitting on the stairs. "Damn, how do I get out of here?" She didn't wish to confront Elizabeth just yet, she thought. Hiding behind a barrel, she noticed Will had appeared before Elizabeth. "Oh god, I'm about to hear all this," Y/n rolled her eyes. Y/n was many things, but she never liked eavesdropping unless it was necessary.

"You left Jack to the Kraken," Will said to Elizabeth. "You also broke Y/n's heart," he said. "He's rescued now. "It's done with," Elizabeth said, sighing. Will turned to not face her, which made Elizabeth stand. "Will, I had no choice," she pleaded with him. "You chose not to tell me," he said to her. "I couldn't," she replied. "It wasn't your burden to bear," she said.

"But I did bear it, didn't I?" He said, moving closer to Elizabeth. "I just didn't know what it was," he said. "I thought..." Will couldn't say the words, but behind the barrel, Y/n knew what he was trying to say, and it appeared Elizabeth noticed. "You thought I loved him," she said. Will didn't have the words to tell Elizabeth. She tried to leave, but Will grabbed Elizabeth and pushed her behind a pillar.
