A year and half had passed since Peter had accepted Fury's offer. Things were going great, he still lived in Queens, he still gets to see his friends, made a new suit, and still be New York's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. And right now, he's in the middle of a crossfire between two mafia families.

"Hey! You know, if you guys had a disagreement you could just talk like any civil citizen right?!" Peter pointed out as both family had stopped firing at each other.

"Its the spider-freak, get him!" they shouted as they started firing at him.

"Spider-freak? I'm hurt. I thought with all of the times I've webbed you up and beaten you guys to a pulp that you'd remember my name by now." Peter quipped as he dodged bullets firing at him.

He did a flip and web the grunts' guns out of their reach disarming them "Didn't anyone has ever told you guys its dangerous to play with guns?"

This annoyed the mafia as all of them put aside their dispute at each other and came running directly to Peter.

"Oh wow, you guys are working together now just to defeat me. See? With a little motivation, you guys can put your differences aside and work it out with each other." Peter dodged the punches that he was about to receive and threw his fist at them knocking them out cold.

Its been almost two years since he started out first as Spider-Man, and he faced a lot of hardships as time goes by. He had faced Vulture, Rhino, Electro, Scorpion, and Dr. Octopus.

As he finished webbing the mafia, he called for the police to pick them up.

"This guys seems to be having a turf war here. No one seems to be injured, and every weapons that they have is now over there." Peter explained as an officer took down notes.

"Thank you Spider-Man, we appreciate your help, even if Jameson calls you a menace." the officer thanked Peter as he put aside his notes.

"Ah good ol' Jameson, he never change. Well, I gotta go, I need to be somewhere today and I don't think they'll appreciate that I'm late." Peter said as he started to walk away.

"Thanks again Spider-Man. Don't let the billboard hit you on your way." the officer smirked recalling the news where Spider-Man swing directly at a bill board.

"Ha ha, very funny. Now that you had your laugh, I'll catch you around then Officer Davis!" Peter swung away as Officer Davis just nodded his head and went back to work.

As Peter swings across the city decorated with Christmas festivities, he heard a voice from behind while swinging "Shouldn't you be training Miles right about now?"

He turned and see Ghost-Spider a.k.a. Gwen Stacy, a fellow spider-person whom he met two months prior of May's death. She was the same age as him, and also goes to Midtown High. She also interns for Dr. Connors at ESU.

"I know, I just wrapped up a turf war between two mafias. Anyway, what are you doing in this neighborhood? Aren't yours supposed to be on Manhattan?" Peter asked as they swing.
