"Madam President, Miss Bauer has not appeared for a little over a day..."
"There is no need to worry about this. I don't need her anymore" - Maud casually waved her hand. - "I got everything I needed from her".
Corvus Crow looked puzzled.
"I'm sorry, but is it appropriate to let her disappear out of the blue and not know her location? After all, we are in a foreign state, which has never been an ally of the Republic".
The President looked at him intently. Her eyes were cold as ice and instilled fear, which pinned the interlocutor to the spot and did not allow him to move.
"Mr. Crow, I don't think you have the right to tell me what is appropriate and what is not, but your question is quite the place to be. So I'll answer it: at the moment, Ms. Bauer poses no threat, and it's perfectly safe to let her do whatever she likes. I don't care about her anymore, but in the future, of course, she may also be useful. Who knows. But in general, she's of no use to me anymore" - Maud turned her gaze back to the papers she was holding in her hands. - "You're dismissed, Mr. Crow. If I need anything, I'll call you. And now go" - she said, without taking her eyes off the paper.
"As you say, ma'am" - Corvus said humbly, bowing his head and left the office.
Only when the door closed behind him, Maud put down the sheets of paper and looked thoughtfully at the wall, grinning.
"It will be over soon" - she muttered, her eyes flashing unkindly.

"Morrigan, don't wave your hands so hard. Apart from your concentration and understanding what is required of you, nothing will help you" - Elodie winced slightly, watching the girl's clumsy movements.
Morrigan dropped her hands and groaned.
"This is some kind of mockery".
Elodie let out a laugh.
"Oh, this is just the beginning" - she looked at Morrigan thoughtfully. - "Well, you're much better at defending than attacking".
"I don't even know if it's good or bad" - Morrigan grumbled.
"Of course it's good. Something is better than nothing at all. But you need to strive for more, so keep going".
Elodie laughed at the pained expression on Morrigan's face.
"What's the fun about?" - Ezra's voice came from the door, who was leaning against the wall.
"Oh, just Morrigan's facial expressions are hilarious" - Elodie said after laughing. - "You're gloomy today" - she tilted her head to the side, seeing the expression on Ezra's face.
"Are you surprised?" - Morrigan muttered under her breath, for which she received two angry glances in her direction.
