Moon returned to the Daycare in a bad mood. Y/N greeted him with a warm hug, which was something he desperately needed.

''That troublemaker got away,'' he groaned, ''I'm pretty sure he made it to the exit. He's probably out of the Pizzaplex by now.''

Y/N squeezed him in her arms. ''He's not here anymore, which means that he also can't cause any more trouble, right?''

Moon whirred. ''I guess. It still sucks that I didn't get to punish him. Such a naughty boy, getting behind the security desk... stealing a security badge. I saw him running around parts and service... I'm pretty sure that area is off-limits to customers.''

Y/N rubbed his back. ''Oh, now, now. Give the boy a break. He's stuck in this huge building with robots searching for him. He was probably really afraid.''

''He was hiding inside Glamrock Freddy,'' Moondrop buzzed, ''And he hasn't been caught once the entire night. I think he's doing fine.''

Y/N exited the hug and lifted up Moon's chin a little. ''You've had a bad night, let's do something you like.''

He grabbed her hand. ''Let's sing a duet together.'' He grabbed her other hand as well, and turned on the second voice box he had specifically for singing lullabies.

He got a short notification that his system was going to restart, and before he could say anything to Y/N, he shut down.

Sundrop woke up in exactly the same place, across from Y/N, who opened her eyes as well. What was the time before the complete restart? How long had it been? Long enough for the recharge cycle to start again, the lights were on in the Daycare. That was strange, Sun had access to Moon's memories again, even though Vannessa had shut off that access. Did the restart have something to do with that? And he felt cleaner, too. Almost free. He looked up at Y/N.

''I just did a complete system reboot,'' he said, ''What about you?''

Y/N nodded. ''Me, too.''

''Do you feel different?''

''Yeah... my head is clearer. It used to be a bit more stuffy, if that makes sense.''

Sundrop nodded. ''That sounds good. Would you like to do anything before the children arrive?''

''Yes. Let's go make a couple of drawings and hang them around the Daycare.''

Sun jumped on his feet, excited by Y/N's idea. ''Oh, the children will love that! C'mon, we don't have much time left! I want to draw a castle!''

And so, Sundrop drew a massive castle that took up six whole A4 pages, while Y/N drew unicorns, rainbows, and of course, a life-size mini version of Sun. They couldn't finish their artworks quick enough before the children arrived, but that didn't matter, as the children joined in with their ventures, and at the end of the day, the entire Daycare was covered in super adorable children's drawings. When Moon came out during naptime, he didn't do anything weird, either. He just sat atop the play structures and watched the children sleep. Moondrop noticed one of the children stirring and muttering, so he called down his cable, and floated over to the girl. She seemed to be having a nightmare. Moon softly landed next to her and hummed a melody as he caressed the girl's hair. She stopped stirring and muttering, and when the song was finished, she was sleeping soundly like the rest of the children. Moondrop floated back over to his place on top of the play structures, and watched over the children as they slept. When the lights went back on, Sun was relieved. Whatever that system restart was, it'd fixed Moon's issues.

After all the children had left the Daycare, Vannessa walked in through the doors. ''Hey, you guys,'' she said and waved a little awkwardly. ''I'm- uh- look, I've been really mean to you two.'' She muttered: ''All the animatronics, really.'' She turned back to the Daycare Attendants. ''Look, I've... I've done some nasty shit, and I wanna make it up to you. Is there anything you two wanted to do? I can change your programming or give you special access to certain things, so if there's anything you want, I can make it happen... As long as it's possible, of course.''
