CHAPTER 1: You look familiar

Ritsu Tainaka | 8:30 AM

"YES! We're finally college students!" I exclaimed on the top of my lungs, getting looks from the people around us. Right right, some of you don't know me right?

Lemme introduce myself then.

Ritsu Tainaka, college student at Tokyo University enrolled in Music. Best drummer in the world. I like food and drums and money thank you very much.

"Ehhhh. I wish Azunyan was here- oh! And also Ui-chan!" Yui says as a small pout appears on her face. I wonder if Azusa is doing well back at Sakuragaoka. I sigh as I gape on Mio's watch. Sure, you have to have a watch and all; but I'm just too lazy to buy one.

8:30... WHAT.

"No way! It's that late?!" I scream as I grabbed Mio's wrist and ran for dear life.

"Oi Ritsu! Ritsu!" Mio exclaims as she grabs Mugi by the hand, and Mugi grabs Yui by the hand; which made me look like I was a train dragging three compartments!

But I just had to do it you know?! Dad always said that I should be early for the first day of school, because it would just start my year right.

"Yui, keep quiet alright?" Mio says to Yui with a finger pressed on her lips.

"Yes ma'am." Yui smiled as she salutes.

"This is so fun!" Mugi whisper screams as we started to creep in the building.

Slowly.

Slowlyyyyy.

"Ladies what are you doing?!" A professor comes to us, an old hag basically who pushed her glasses up. Damn. Baka Yui.

"Sensei, we're late sorry." Mugi says with a smile. The nightmare looked at her and her eyes widened.

"K-Kotobuki-hime! Welcome!" She stammered with a bow.

"Hime?" Mio wonders loudly. I stopped the urge to roll my eyes. YES MIO. Mugi is a rich kid with rich kid problems.

But I really doubt that she is even aware of that along with Yui.

"Kotobuki-sama's family has donated much to our school. Thank you so much." She bowed down again. Mugi looks a bit flustered.

"It's no big deal." Mugi said as she fanned her dismissively.

"We saved seats of course so please go inside." She insisted as she pushed us inside the massive gym. Damn. We got separated.

Oh roMio oh roMio where are you- Oh she's at the other side.

She looks uncomfortable as she sat beside a guy with black hair. She looks like she's flustered. Can't really blame her for being like that anyway. The opening ceremony just started, and then bam. Suddenly this huge ass guy started sitting in front of me.

Ruuuuude.

"Can't see." Yui complains as she tries sitting straight to try and see from this guy's back. Those back muscles though. Damn.

"Excuse me." I said poking at the hard muscles of the guy in front of me. "Can you please make yourself shrink down to some small being for a minute or something?"

He turns his back at me and he looks surprised for a second, and- wait. I've seen those eyes before.

"R-Ritsu?!" He exclaims, making the whole row stare at him. I look away, trying to avoid that question. I know it's him, I know it's that little squirt.

"Psh. No way loser. Get lost." I huffed as the guy looks at me confused.

"I swear to God you are Ritsu Tainaka." He says.

"Richan, how does that giant know your name?" Yui wondered loudly. A glimmer was set in his eyes, as a grin appears on his face.

"No way! It's you! Remember me?! It's Makoto! Tachibana Makoto!" He exclaims. The guy across us looked at him with a stone face before shaking his head, and I could tell he mumbled 'I dont know that guy.'

"Keep it down, you're making a commotion." I hissed at him.

"Can you please keep it down brats?" A professor with a permanent bitch look on his face says coldly as he passes by me. He would've been intimidating if he was a bit more taller than me. I guess he's just around Mio's height.

"Gomene Mr. Ackerman." Makoto apologizes profusely. I roll my eyes.

"What did you just do?" Crap, he got me. I looked into his dead eyes, and swallowed.

"I... Exercised my eyeballs." I said, as I bit my lip.

"Nice try. Go to my office now."

Well this is a good start to a good year.
