I was kinda salty I didn't get my position back... but Shay being happy made me so happy. I've never seen her glow like that. Her confidence has really gone up and I'm here for it.

"Girl... I can't wait til Friday!! My family is coming down just to see me." She said Wednesday evening. We were chilling in my dorm room while Chris was doing community service.

"Let me see you do it" I said hyping her up.

She bit her lip. "Okay"

While I pulled up the song on my phone she set down her wine glass and got in position.

I sat there on the floor watching her do the dance. Hyping her up.

"Ayeeee, ayeee legsss and hippsss and body body!!"

We both busted out laughing.

"Period bitch, you bout to kill it Friday" I said as she sat back down with her glass.

"Tat... thank you, for real. Because I know you wanted your position back.. you didn't have to be this nice... but you are"

"Yea.... don't get to comfortable hoe" I said looking her up and down. We both laughed.

Her phone started vibrating.

"It's Trey!" She whispered answering.

I sat there being nosey.

"Baby? Who said I was your baby?" She said in a sassy tone, but it was obvious she was simping.

"Boy bye... boy... oh you not a boy? If you a man, act like one"

I covered my mouth. Not her questioning his manhood.

She bit her lip listening to what he was saying.

"Okay" she blushed. "I said okayyyy, I'm coming" she giggled a little.

She hung up.

"Well, girl... I'm bout to go get some dick" she said picking up her stuff quickly.

"Have fun!" I said slightly salty because my period was still on.

After she left my phone dinged. I assumed it was Chris telling me she was gonna be back soon... but it was actually a IG message

Ouuu she trippin for real. I left her on read. Ain't no way she think linking is good idea.

I'm not gonna lie.. I am flattered that I could pull her. I'd be lying like hell if I said I wasn't attracted.. but that's exactly why I should keep my distance. Chris is too reactive to play these games.... besides. I don't want to play games with her.. I like her.

"I can't believe the season ending so fast" Chris said laying in bed with me Thursday morning. "I mean I got time., my stats look good... but they could be better if  I wasn't out for those games. It's whatever tho. I got next year"

"Yea, that's kinda how I'm feeling too.. the completion is my last chance to really stand out.. if I don't get a solo or something I guess I'll just get it next year"  I sighed.
