Chapter 3:The Krakken

-3rd POV-

It was night time at a lake side camping grounds that the Tennysons and (Y/N) were staying at with the Rustbucket being parked close to the lake, wearing her one piece swimsuit Jen jumped into the lake wanting to have fun.

"Jen:Cannonball!"

Jen landed in the water making a splash and once she resurface she spit out some water that got into her mouth still smiling.

"Jen:Yes, perfect ten, yeah, the crowd loves her!"

Watching from a dock Gwen and (Y/N) just looked at Jen unamused by her antics.

"Gwen:A perfect dweeb is more like it."

"Jen:Come on, dive in you two!"

"Gwen:Please, who knows what nasty slimy things are slithering around in there."

"(Y/N):And I do not want to go to sleep with wet fur, ever."

"Jen:What's the point of camping by a lake of you're afraid to get wet."

Seeing Jen was preparing to splash them with water (Y/N) jumped out of the way letting Gwen be the only one to get splashed.

"Gwen:Knock it off doofus!"

Gwen walked away in a huff with (Y/N) following after her leaving Jen who was suddenly pulled under the water by something which caught the attention of Gwen and (Y/N).

"Gwen:Very funny Jen, I'm not falling for it."

As Gwen went back to investigate (Y/N) began to sniff the air, smelling something, familiar.

"Gwen:Jen?"

Suddenly something burst out of the water in front of Gwen causing the girl to scream and fall to the ground, but Gwen quickly realised it was just Jen transformed into Fourarms covered in seaweed.

"Gwen:Jen?!"

"Jen:You should've seen the look on your face, ah, priceless."

"Gwen:You are so busted when I tell grandpa."

As Gwen walked past (Y/N) who soon followed her still sniffing the air until the both got back to the Rustbucket finding Max already asleep, after Gwen got into her pajamas and got into her bed with (Y/N) curled up by the foot of it the two started to fall asleep, when Jen still transformed as Fourarms came running in panting.

"Jen:I was just attacked, by a giant lake monster!"

Gwen threw a pillow at her cousin looking annoyed at what Jen said.

"Gwen:Hello, current events you already got me with that one."

"Jen:But I'm not kidding this time!"

Max, without opening his eyes joined in the conversation.

"Max:Come on champ, jokes over."

"Jen:But-, I-"

"Max:Get some sleep, remember we have an early day tomorrow for our fishing trip."

Jen's Omnitrix timed out and with a flash of red light she turned back into a human and fell to the ground, (Y/N) sniffed the air again for a second picking up the same scent on Jen as the one he smelt at the lake but thought nothing of it, believing it to just be some earth creature he wasn't familiar with, in the morning the four were walking to the boat Max had rented for their fishing trip with (Y/N) in his Osmosian form and Jen was still talking about the apparent lake monster she saw last night.

"Jen:No really, it was humongous with these red glowing eyes!"

"Max:I'm sure it was just some kinda big fish that's all."
