It was another normal night for the Tennysons. With (Y/N) sleeping outside in a tree.
Only, he wasn't dreaming. No...
He was having another Metal Talk with his old employer, Vilgax.
"(Y/N):What do you want now, Squid Face?"
"Vilgax:Do not call me that, Dog!"
"(Y/N):Then stop calling me that, Gax!"
"Vilgax:Enough! You will retrieve the Omnitrix, and give it to me once I land on Earth!"
"(Y/N):Okay, one small problem, I don't work for you. Now piss off, Squidy, I was trying to sleep."
Before Vilgax could get another word in, (Y/N) forcefully woke himself up, and ended the mental conversation.
Once awake, (Y/N) stretched before climbing down the tree he'd been sleeping in, and entering the Rustbucket.
Once inside, (Y/N) gently woke Max up, with the old man rubbing his eyes before looking at (Y/N).
"Max:What is it?"
"(Y/N):We have a problem."
In the morning, the Rustbucket was driving on the road with one destination.
Mt Rushmore.
While Max and (Y/N) knew why, Gwen and Jen didn't, and were confused as to why Max seemed so eager to get there, yet he didn't seem happy.
"Jen:Uh, Grandpa. What's with the led foot?"
"Max:I wanna make Mt Rushmore by nightfall."
Jen, like always, was clearly bored. And she made sure everyone knew.
"Jen:I'm so bored."
Jen then looked at Gwen, who was using her computer, as usual.
"Jen:Let me play a game."
"Gwen:I would, but I think this will be a good lesson for you on how to entertain yourself."
At first, Jen seemed annoyed. Until she gained a smirk and went over to (Y/N), before scratching behind his ear.
"(Y/N):What're yooo..."
Like a cute puppy, (Y/N) gained a look of bliss as his tail began to wag, which caused Jen to laugh.
Gwen, hearing Jen laugh, looked up from her computer, seeing (Y/N) leaning into Jen's hands as she scratched under his chin as well.
Once the cousins looked eyes with each other, Jen stuck her tongue out at Gwen. This, of course, didn't sit well with Gwen, as she stood up, before activating her Omnitrix, transforming into a Loboan.

The pink flash of light caught everyone's attention, and once (Y/N) saw Gwen's Loboan form again, he began trying to just look at her face and not....anywhere else...as he began to blush, and his tail began to move faster.
