Ah quidditch, a wonderful game that's fun for everyone. That is why Lily-Kathryn is so excited to go see the match between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. With all of the stress and drama of the school year, this is a good way to relax and have some fun. She pulls on a green jumper with some black joggers, fuzzy socks, and boots. Knowing how cold the stands are she pulls on her thicker, fur-lined cloak. Feeling something in her pocket she reaches inside and flinches at the feeling of something hard but squishy, ignoring the feeling she grabs it and pulls it out. In her hand is the mud-crusted rock that the giant squid gave her. The slimy half-dried mud is so gross and smells just a little, she walks into the washroom and turns on the sink, waiting for it to heat up so she can clean it. Rolling up her sleeves she holds the rock under the water, surprised as the mud washes off to show another layer of hardened clay. She starts scrubbing it when Ari runs into the room shouting that they have to go. Lily wraps up the rock and puts it in her trunk for later. Putting her hair up she rushes down the stairs, meeting up with her friends.
Arriving at the quidditch pitch they sit and wait for the match to start. Theo and Draco are debating the best ways for a seeker to catch the snitch, while Pansy and Ari are wondering which hair is better for winter, long or short. Lily-Kathryn just sits there listening to both conversations. She glances down at the pitch to see Professor McGonagall half walking, half running across the pitch with a large purple megaphone. "This match has been canceled," She calls through the megaphone, addressing the packed stadium. She is met with a plethora of disgruntled shouting and booing. "All students are to make their way back to the House common rooms, where their Heads of Houses will give them further information. As quickly as you can, please!"
Everyone swiftly stands, Draco taking Lily's hand, and rushing down the stairs. They are rushing through the oh-so-crowded stands and are rushing along the grass toward the school. "What's going on?!" The crowd is so wild and unruly that Lily-Kathryn gets so pushed around by the crowd that she and Draco get separated, and gets lost in the crowd. After a particularly hard shove, she falls to the ground. Unable to get back up due to people shoving her more and more she feels fear and claustrophobia claw at her throat.
Suddenly she is grabbed by the back of her robes and hauled to her feet. Being pulled into the side of someone tall and sturdy she holds onto their robes, hiding from the dark shadows clouding her vision. Once the crowd disperses Lily-Kathryn opens her eyes and turns to her savior. Standing right in front of her is the tall, ominous Lucious Malfoy. "Thank you, Mr. Malfoy." He goes to respond but is interrupted.
"Father? What are you doing here?" Draco asks, coming up beside Kathryn. He realized he had lost her and came back to find her.
"I am here to help with this unfortunate situation when your friend here quite literally fell at my feet. You both need to get to your common room, these are dangerous times. I need to know that you are away from danger." He says looking at the two children. Lucious reaches a hand out, cupping Draco's chin, "Be a good boy and don't try to be a hero, just be safe."
They nod, leaving for their common room. Rushing they arrive right after the rest of their housemates. Entering the room Ari rushes up to them, "Girlypop! Where have you been, Pansy is having a girls' sleepover in our dorm, and we were invited! Come on, we need to get our stuff." They run up to their dorm and gather their pajamas, pillows, blankets, and some fun activities, then they go to Pansy's dorm. Entering the room they are greeted by a large group of girls, music coming out of an enchanted gramophone. There is laughter and the popping of a game of snap. Lily-Kathryn and Ari join in. All is well but all of the drama keeps her from being worried or upset. Suddenly Grace rushes into the room, spluttering over the fact that Granger had been petrified along with some Ravenclaw girl and that's why the match had been canceled.
"Well, looks like Potter isn't the Heir of Slytherin then huh?" Pansy says, laughing with a group of her friends.
"People think Harry is the Heir of Slytherin?" Kathryn asks, bewildered.
Pansy smacks her hand over her mouth. "Oh, I was not supposed to tell you that." Draco had instructed all of their friends not to tell Kathy. Draco was not going to be happy about this.
