"Kota-kun you're back!" Inoo-san greeted me.

I smiled at her and gave her a hug. "I'm back", I said.

I turned to look at the living room. I kept looking from right to left, searching for him. It's been two months already since I last visited and I badly wanted to see him again.

"If you're looking for him, he's outside playing with Jam" she told me with a smile.

I looked surprisingly at her and then blushed. I guess I'm just too obvious. I thanked her and hurriedly went outside to the back door, and just like what Inoo-san told me he was there.

"Jam! Ahahaha! Mou~ stop licking me" he pouted but it quickly turned into a smile. I just stood there for a moment while looking at him. A huge smile formed on my face as I saw his beautiful face. I could just stare at him forever if I could.

"It's you!" I snapped away from my trance when I heard him call out to me. He stared at me; his face still had that unsure feeling it had whenever he saw me. I started approaching him but with every step I took he would back away. I stopped on my tracks since it was clear that he didn't want me approaching him.

"Yabu, right?" he asked me. I simply nodded. I tried going back to my smiling face but it hurt me to see him like this.

"Arf! Arf! Arf!" Jam barked happily towards me. He wiggled his tail and started tackling my legs. I laughed and ruffled his head. I turned to look back to its owner again, and just like every time I visit him, he would have this curious look at me.

"Um, Jam seems to like you very much" he commented.

"Well, I did come here very often back then" I said. "So, uh, how have you been? Everything, okay?"

He smiled at me and made a cute boyish smile. He made a fist and hit his chest with a grin. "Of course I'm oKei! I'm Inoo Kei!" he grinned.

I couldn't help but chuckle at his childish behavior. I guess that's one of the reasons I love him. I patted Jam once more and did another attempt to come closer to Kei but the results were the same. He just backed away again. I gave up and decided to just sit on the sand.

I stared at the seashore that was just near his house. The ocean looked so blue. The breeze was refreshing and had this familiar salty scent and the sun shined brightly. It was such a beautiful day yet it just made me feel sadder. Jam kept on playing with me while Kei still stared curiously away from me.

Sigh, beautiful days like this make me remember the things that made me so happy yet it pained my chest to remember it. I looked towards Kei and saw him flinch when I did.

"You don't have to be afraid of me, you know" I told him. "Call me Kota"

When I said that, he shook his head at me. "Sorry but I can't. Can I just call you Yabu?" he asked.

I sighed again. "Sure, I'm sorry about that"

I turned towards the ocean again. That beautiful blue hue was the start of our meeting.

>>>Flashback<<<

Blue. All that I could see was the color blue. Weird, I can't feel my legs. Heck, I can't even feel my arms. My body won't move. Where am I?

I feel myself floating amidst a sea full of blue. I focused my eyes as I saw a shadow coming towards me. It was a boy, a beautiful boy. He looked worried. I wonder why.

He grabbed unto my back. He started pulling me above. Wait, are we flying?

That's when I realized that I was actually drowning. We reached above the water. I started breathing heavily and coughed up some of the water.
