Ch.1

Look Who's Back
Monday morning & back to work.
Regina Mills, a 23 year old Marine Biologist. Her & her best friend Robin Locksley a very well known Architect lived in New York City. Robin's family owned a Marine Wildlife Zoo, One of the best zoo's in the city & it happens to be where Regina works. Today Robin decided to go to the zoo to see Regina while on a date.

Work started at 8:00, its 7:50. Regina had forgotten to set her alarm last night. Thank God for Robin. He calls her every morning.

Regina's P.O.V.

I feel my phone vibrating on the counter, I see that its Robin.

"It's like.?" I paused and moved my phone from my ear " awe crap, its 7:50. I'm going to be late. Thank you Robin." I said laughing.

"You're lucky I call you every morning, this is exactly the reason why, well you better hurry." Robin said in a sarcastic tone but also laughing.

I run out of bed and slip on my day old jeans, shirt & I ran to the bathroom brushed my hair & teeth put some mascara on and ran to the door. It seems like I forgot something I look at the floor then at my feet..shoes, I need shoes.
Lucky for me, work is about only 30 minuets away. I'm still going to be late.

While I'm driving I get a text from Robin, I didn't read it until I got to work and I was out of the car. It read
"Hey where are you? You're 20 minuets late. Maybe I'll have my parents fire you 😂😈"

"Maybe I'll have to rent you and Marian a room?😂😷" I reply as I walk in seeing him and Marian almost devouring each other.

I walk to my office and change into my wet suit because there's a dolphin show today. I got to train the dolphin, his name in Ronnie. Robin barges into my office & freaks out

"Why would you not lock the door?!" He exclaims

"Why don't you knock ?!" I yell even though I was already dressed before he walked in.

"Touché. Valentine's Day is next week & I was wondering.." He pauses. "If you could help me practice telling Marian that I love her?"

Regina's mind went blank, she never liked Marian and she didn't know why. Now she does, she doesn't like her because of Robin. Because she's with Robin.

"N... Yes? Haven't you guys just been together for like a year.." She said curiously trying to come up with an excuse for him not to tell her.

"That's why, I want to tell her?" he sounds confused.

"Ok uhm yeah I'll help you. Let's start? Uhm." I said.

"Hey R-robin " I said trying to be as serious as Marian is , I couldn't resist to laugh in between.

"Regina, please. This is serious. " he said with a pout.

"Fine, if I have to. " I said trying not to laugh.

"Hey Robin" i said innocently.

"Why hello, love. Can I to tell you something?." He sucks at role playing.

" Of course, you can tell me anything"

" I love you, Regina. Uhm uh Marian I meant Marian. Sorry uh. " he stutters

Oh God, am I blushing..?

"Love is a strong word, Locksley."
I said laughing at him.

"Oh hush." he gave me a smirk.

"Ok, how about we try that again?
Hey, Robin. Was there something you wanted to tell me?"

" Marian, yes. I wanted to let you know that you are the woman that I love and always will. "

"Nailed it, well I have to get to work." I said slightly smiling, I felt this weird feeling in my stomach. Jealousy? Sadness?.

But that's nothing but the memory of when Regina knew she loved Robin.

It's been almost a year since she has last seen Robin. Regina's birthday was coming up. She wasn't making such a big deal about it.

Regina had planned to just go to work on her birthday. Her birthday was in a week.

She casually took a stroll through Central Park, it was extremely crowded.

Regina was being pushed around like a doll in between the crowds of people. She backed up to get out of the crowd and ended up backing into another person causing them to spill their coffee on themselves.

Without looking at who it was, Regina pulls herself and the appeared to be a man off to side.

"I'm am so sorry about that, sir. If you'd like I'll pay for your dry cleaning ?" Regina said nervously.

"No, it's fine M'lady" it was a familiar voice. A bit to familiar. She looked up and saw Robin smiling at her.

"Oh my god, Robin! It's been almost a year, how have you been?" She said hugging him tightly.

"I've been ok, but I'm much better now." He said not letting go of her embrace.

They walked down the streets of New York City together catching up on the past year.

"How are you and Marian.?" Regina said shyly but with a slight smirk.

"Actually, we uh. We broke up." Robin said as they stopped waking. He looked at the floor.

Regina punched him, playfully on the arm. "Eh, I never liked her anyways." she said looking over her shoulder at him with a smirk.

"& that's not the worst part, she cheated on me. " he said

"Bitch better pray I don't ever see her again." Regina stated as her face went from a smirk to 'I'm going to rip someone's heart out' look.

Robin laughed, and took Regina by the arm. He walked her to her apartment, which was rather big. Nothing compared to Robins, he lived in a penthouse. And who would've thought it was in the same building also.?

"I missed having you around, Captain Turd." she said laughing.

"Ahah very funny, Scrub" Robin said chuckling.

"Oh, he does remember ! Seems to be getting late, I should uhm I should get some sleep." Regina said as her eyes became heavy.

"Goodnight, Scrub." Robin said playfully and gave her a kiss on the cheek after all they are best friends right.

Robin went to the penthouse and laid down. His attempts at sleeping were not successful as it seems that Regina is the one thing from keeping him awake. Her voice was echoing inside his head.

And for Regina, she couldn't sleep for the past month. As for today she fell asleep with a smile on her face and her last thought was Robin.

A/N: I'm really sorry for not continuing the other story I had started. It didn't seem right, so I just started writing this one. I hope you guys like it :)
