Chapter 12

Will saw his father passed out drunk on the living room couch. Will scoffed them headed to the kitchen. He then saw a note on the fridge.

Hey Will! I won't be home till later tonight. Jonathan is over at a friends house. So your be home with you father. Love you!

Love, Mom

Will groaned. He did NOT want to be stuck here alone with Lonnie. He then heard some noise. He went to end living room to see that his father had woken up. Lonnie spotted Will then walked towards him. "How was your camping trip?" He asked sarcastically. "G-Good?" Will said. "Who is Mike?" Lonnie asked.

Will froze. Not knowing what to do. "Mike is a friend of mine." Will said. "I found a you journal." Lonnie said. Will's eyes widened. Will has been writing in a journal recently. In his journal he had mentioned Mike. "I will not have a queer in my house!" Lonnie yelled.

Lonnie kicked Will down then punched him a few times. Will moaned in pain trying to get up. "Get the hell out!" Lonnie screamed. Will did. He didn't try to fight back. He knows that it's useless. Will went to Mikes house.

Will knocked in the door. A few seconds later Nancy answered the door. "Hi. You must be Will right?" Nancy asked. Will nodded. "I had heard so much about you. What happened to your face?!" Nancy asked. "Nothing. Can I just see Mike?" Will asked. "Of course." Nancy said moving aside.

Will ran up to Mikes room. He knocked on the door then heard a quiet 'come in'. Will opened the door and saw Mike listening to music. "Hey Will!" Mike said jumping up from his bed. Mike quickly noticed something was off. "What's wrong?" He asked. Will didn't answer. Mike lifted his chin to get a better view of his face. "Did he do this to you?!" Mike yelled angrily. Will nodded then burst into tears.

Mike immediately embraced him in a hug. Mike rubbed his back until Will calmed down. Mike only heard soft sniffles. "Can I stay for tonight. Please." Will begged. Mike nodded. Eddie walked through the door. "Mike. Dinners ready." Eddie said. Will looked up. "Oh my god! What happened?" Asked Eddie. Will looked down again. "He doesn't want to talk about it." Mike said. Eddie nodded and came closer. "Can I help?" Eddie asked. Will nodded.

Eddie reached into his fanny pack. Mike kissed Will's head then walked downstairs. "Hey mom?" Mike asked spotting his mother. "Hey Mike. Dinners ready." Karen said. "Can Will stay here tonight?" Mike asked. "Honey. It's a school night." Karen said. "I know. But he needs it. There's some things going on at home. Something to do with his father." Mike said. "What happened." Karen asked. "Let's just say his father isn't the nicest person. He kinda kicked Will out." Mike said. Karen sighed. "Alright. But your still going to school." Karen said.

Mike nodded. "Does Will want dinner?" She asked. Mike nodded.

He went back upstairs to fine Eddie, Richie, and Will talking. "Hey." Mike said. "Hey." Will said. Eddie grabbed Richies hand and dragged him out of Mikes room. Mike handed the door to Will and they ate in silence. Will the rested his head on Mikes shoulder. "He found out." Will said. "What?" Mike asked. "He found out about us Mike. My father." Will said. Mike have Will a synthetic look. Mike kissed Wills lips softly.

"I'll kill that bastard." Mike said. "Don't get a head of yourself Mike." Will said. Mike chuckled.

Night rolled around and Will fell asleep peacefully in Mikes arms.

I'm not going to be posting as much. I start school tomorrow. First year of High school! I'm going to be a freshman! I hate this! 😭
