Xiao studied in Teyvat High before transferring to Liyue High. That is where he met Ganyu, they started dating but ended up with a relationship which non of them expected. Ganyu was a very popular with the guys while Xiao was very popular with the girls. Everyday girls in Xiao's class would try to give him some sweets but to their despair he would reject them.

[Btw both Student 1 and 2 are girls :) ] "Ughhhh!" Student 1 said to Student 2 "What happened?"
" It is Xiao! I tried asking him out but he rejected me, he is such a cold hearted bastard like how can he just reject a girl like that!? so rude" Student 1 said as she slouch on the table "Didn't you know that Xiao rejected almost every girl in our class and even some other girls from the next door class. You should have expected that" Student 2 said at Student 1 as she rolled her eyes cause she thinks that Student 1 is dumb.

"Ganyu!" Student 1 shouted when she saw Ganyu outside of their class, all of the sudden all the boys started to run up to her except Xiao "Woah calm down please don't ask me out I have made it very clear that I do not want to go out with anyone of you!" Ganyu shouted politely she tried to get out of the crowd of boys who wanted to ask her out. Ganyu's saw Xiao sitting there all alone so she walked towards his table.

"Hello! I am Ganyu, and you are?" Ganyu greeted Xiao politely. "Xiao! Just call me Xiao." Xiao said as look like he didn't care about Ganyu. Xiao could feel Ganyu staringat him so to prevent any awkwardness he asked" What do you want?" Ganyu smiled and said "your heart🤭" Xiao was already annoyed by the other girls who kept asking him out so in reply "No-" before he could say finish his sentence Ganyu cut him off by saying "I understand that you have been rejecting the girls from our class but please hear me out!" Xiao took a glimpse at ganyu and nodded his head.

"This is the thing I have been 'observing' you for awhile and like I realised that you are like different from the guy's in our class and that why I- I like you" Ganyu said as she turned her head to hide her blush. Xiao looked at Ganyu and smiled and said "if you want to date me then date me." Everyone in their class heard it and was shocked Ganyu was quite shock for Xiao to accept her instead of other girls. "Oh so where do you want to go for our first date?" Ganyu asked surprisingly.

"Maybe the amusement park?" Xiao replied. "Sure thing! Today 5pm ok?" Ganyu exclaimed. Xiao nodded his head. Afterwards they had their own lessons and they were very excited for their first date at the amusement park. Time went by and it was 5pm already,Xiao was getting ready for his first date. So he messaged Ganyu as he wanted to meet up with her.

Xiao was already ready so he head off to the bus stop near his school. When Xiao reached the bus stop he saw Ganyu, "Ganyu!" Xiao shouted as he ran as fast as he can towards Ganyu. Ganyu waved at Xiao and said "Xiao you look very nice today!" Xiao felt weird for some reason as if Ganyu was just saying it to make him feel good but he didn't care at all. "I am sorry for being late." Xiao apologised to Ganyu. "It's fine I came here early. You're not late in any sense." Ganyu replied. When Ganyu and Xiao was on the bus,Ganyu fell asleep and ended sleeping on Xiao's shoulder.
