Crunchys POV

I heard my alarm start blasting, the usual one of just BEEEP BEEEEEEEEEP y'know? Anyways- I sit up, stretching. I shut off my phones alarm before getting ready for work. I shuffled on one of my loose t shirts, it has a cheesy wolf print on it but I didnt care. It was cute, and had wolves, so fuck it.

I walked out of my room, into the bathroom, did usual stuff like deodorant yadda yadda then went to the kitchen for some breakfast or at least coffee before work. Caramel saw me and waved, me returning a tied yawn and wave. He quickly gave C some breakfast, Caramel handing me something.

"I made breakfast bars for your horrible cooking ability!" she said with glee, I took it and bit into it. Wasnt bad, so i stuck with it. I got a cup, yeeted some ice in there, and coffee n creamer what do you expect its iced coffee! I sat at the dining table waiting until its time for my bus... oh did I mention we don't own a car? Yeah makes traveling a bit hard.

"Hows dyphoria been recently?" Caramel asked me, getting a simple shrug as she sat down. I was simply scrolling on my phone, and the same boxer appeared on my page. Cant the guy go awayyy!! I dont want to see him constantly! (Hun your so wrong)

I grumbled as it got to seven, aka when I get headed to the bus. I threw my phone into a bag I carried around, my usual stuff like a lunch, which Carm made of course since I put hummus in a bag once, and keys that stuff. I got C into his service animal vest because he couldn't get on the bus without it, and left for work. Carm worked from home so she didnt have to worry about being on time.

...

Work was... slow again. I worked at basically a doggy daycare, due to my love of dogs I could easily work with stubborn dogs and get them to acting normal with others. Its always odd how I'm on the least shifts with that though... maybe its due to my attitude. Likely. I just act like I want this done with instead of the happy attitude of my co workers. Its always been a bit eerie to customers.

Someone walked in, I gave a quick look and-- ITS THE BOXER GUY AGAIN?? What the fuck!! I composed myself, telling Choco Orange, aka my current co worker for this shift, to take care of the dogs. I walked out and put on the best I could, even though I definitely sounded done with this. "Hello, whatcha need." The guy was holding a small dog, looked very fluffy. Was odd how a big guy had such a small dog.

He spoke "I'd like to drop off a dog." god his voice was eerie even for me.
"The small one your holding?" He nodded "Alright do you already have a program with us?"

The guy nodded, telling me the program and yadda yadda... and I got confirmation of what his name was. Yep. It was definitely the boxer from the posters... "Wildberry cookie?" He nodded. I took the dog, taking them into the area with other dogs and he had left already.

... why was I turning red?? I just hoped Orange didn't- "Hey are you alright Crunchy? Your a bit red." fuck. He noticed.
"Yeah I'm alright." C was off being used as a pillow by other dogs, I laughed a bit seeing him over there. C just stared at me. Did I take a picture? Yep. Wholesome photos of wholesome doggo!

I payed attention to the little fluffy dog the guy had dropped off. It seemed to get along with other dogs well so it wasn't gonna be hard to work with... actually said fluffy dog was on C's head! I sighed, lunch time was a few hours away so until then I just have to make sure no dogs hurt eachother... easy enough a lot of the dogs here are well trained.

...

"Hey Crunchy! Your turn for lunch break!" Orange came back, I gave a simple nod going to eat. C had joined me and I opened my phone to a message from Caramel. As usual for about now.

[Carmie <3, 1:36PM: Hey lil bro! Hows work been goin!]
[Me, 1:37PM: Well, boxer guy appeared AGAIN and he has a tiny fluffy dog. And yeah its the boxer I was talking about.]
[Carmie <3, 1:39PM: Oooooo?]
[Me, 1:40PM: Shut. Now let me eat lunch.]
[Carmie <3, 1:41PM: Awe fine :(]

She often does stuff like that, message me during lunch break asking how im doing and how works going. Nothing much but I appreciate it cause sometimes HORRID dogs can come in, and I mean like really bad dogs that bark and bite everyone. We have extra rooms for those dogs since we dont want others dogs getting hurt.

I spaced out as I ate, thinking about what I wanna do when I get off work... maybe ice skating would be nice its been a little... or just a walk in the park would be nice as well. I just need a break from reality sometimes.
