Once upon a time, in the kingdom of Libeluz, there was a beautiful young lady with beautiful black hair; as dark as an empty and mysterious night; as dark as the starless universe itself; but when the moonbeams touched it, they tended to become fine, silvery threads; smooth and shining, resembling the full brightness of a new moon; she had bulging, light blue eyes like the clear sky in summer; a slender, white and delicate figure like that of a porcelain doll.
This beautiful lady was not just any other young lady, but she was the third princess of that kingdom; without inheriting anything and condemned to marry a nobleman for being the last of her sisters she was rejoiced with very worthy gifts such as: Singing, elegance, wisdom and tenderness; that princess supported in making decisions together with the king and her sisters to make the kingdom a safe place for its inhabitants, which is what mattered most to her.
As is usual in most princesses the desire to find the "prince charming", she wanted to look for him, but she didn't care who he was, the important thing was that this someone touched her heart; but day after day passed and she couldn't find the courage. The next day the royal family was summoned for a matter of the utmost importance, which was to judge a rebel who had the audacity to create a riot in the main market street; he was accused of theft and assault on the merchants, but was let off because his arguments were credible, together with a warning and community service.
Leaving aside the issues of the castle, it was very rare for the knights of the realm to return; for they always went on missions where they risked their lives and when they were successfully completed they delivered their reports about monsters or creatures never seen before; about strange places and strange people. One of them; young and of the highest rank; with hair as blond as the sun; like a star in its death throes and large green eyes like the trees before the spring fruit; was strolling through the vast; cobbled and highly ornamented garden in the evening, when he heard a sweet; soft and romantic melody of a lyre and a female voice; so soft that it was utterly delightful to the ears, and incited to stay a little longer to listen to it; he turned from that voice and saw her for the first time; he saw her when the sun was completely hidden; he saw how her black hair in the moonlight turned to precious grey metal; he was admiring her for a few minutes when she said:
-How much longer will you be watching, gentleman? Please come to me and show me your face. That voice was that of the princess, her hands caressed the golden lyre adorned with flowers of the same material and inlaid with precious and glittering gems.
