-Dammit Nick!

-What happened Mei?

-I went over time; I have to go.

-But it's only 7:00 p.m.... Nick looks at the clock again and it's 11:00 p.m. Has it really been 4 hours?

-It seems like we talk too much.

-Time passes when you're having fun.

-It's true; thank you so much for what you've done so far Nick; I really appreciate it.

-It's nothing; you needed it. Nick replied with a smile.

-Well; it's time for me to go. Said Mei looking at her watch.

-Are you taking a taxi? asked Nick scratching the back of his head.

-No. I'll walk home. Said Mei shaking her head.

-You're taking a big risk, you know? said Nick, a little worried.

There's no other way. Mei said, lifting both shoulders. I almost forgot Nick.

-What's that?

-Don't you have a notebook and pen?

-Yes; let me get it. Nick went to the library and took out a small notebook and handed it to Mei; then he went to his room and took out a blue pen and handed it to her as well.

Mei started to write her full name; she had a very nice handwriting and underneath the name she put her mobile phone number and her home number.

-There you go. Here you go; now you can contact me.

-Thank you, Mei.

-Good; now I have to go.

-I'll walk you out.

-No, you've done enough for me.

-Mei, you should know something about me.

-What's that?

-I'm very insistent when it comes to help.

-I can see that...

-So?

-All right; let's go.

They both went down the stairs and reached the 1st level which was dark and was only lit by the night lights; Nick unlocked the shop; they both got out and went to a garage around the corner; Nick took out another key and opened the door of this one; then he took out a white scooter; he also handed Mei a helmet apart from his own; they both got on it and Nick started the white machine, but before leaving Nick asked turning to Mei:

-Where do you live?

-I'll show you the way. Mei said.

-Hold on; we'll go fast.

-Okay.

So Nick and Mei walked down the street for about 7 minutes; they turned onto Magnolia Avenue and 3 buildings away was Mei's house.
