Nick set about cleaning and tidying up the cafe "Le papillon" singing and dancing with the mop and tablecloths; then he went back to the terrace and picked some flowers to decorate the place; he had roses; poppies; lilies; yellow carnations; snapdragons (you'll know why); gardenias; daisies and ferns; it was a very sophisticated cafe as far as the owner's tastes were concerned.

-The coffee beans smell so good. I love coffee, I'm going to put them all in the coffee pots and put some desserts in the display cases.

Outside the shop an old man was approaching; with a wooden cane carved to his liking. He walked slowly towards the coffee shop, as soon as he arrived the man entered and greeted the young owner of the coffee shop.

-Is the coffee ready Nick? asked the old man, pulling his cap off his head, revealing his white hair.

-Mr. Elvin welcome! Please sit down, what would you like? offered the owner of the shop to the customer.

-The same as always. He replied.

-Espresso coffee and some buttered toast; understood; it will be ready in a few minutes. Nick indicated going to prepare it.

-Thanks Nick; by the way, I like your flowers. Elvin praised the young man.

-They're my bliss sir, they really brighten up the place and improve the mood in the mornings or any grumpy person passing through a cafe. Nick explained as he poured the coffee into a white cup and put the buttered toast on a plate.

-You think too much of others. The old man said.

-After all, they are customers. There you go, Mr. Elvin! Here and enjoy.

-Thank you very much, dear Nick. Elvin thanked him.

-It's nothing, it's my job. Nick spoke as he continued with the cleaning.

After a few sips and a bite of buttered piece of toast, Mr. Elvin had a question.

-Excuse me, Nick.

-Yes, Mr. Elvin?

-You haven't even thought about meeting someone, getting married? Asked the acquaintance of our blond-haired man.

-I don't think that's necessary. Nick said with an uncomfortable smile.

-You're the type who's afraid of commitment, I see. Said the older man mockingly.

-It's not that, it's just not my priority at the moment. replied the young man, returning to his business.
