"What's with the books on the table?" Y/N takes a look. "Ah, it's just stuff I got from the bookstore. You know I love books about elements and powers." I laughed. "I see, could I stay for a while? You know how far my house is." Y/N tied her hair into a slick ponytail, just like when we first met. "Mhm, I don't see any reasons why I could say no." I smiled, bringing out my phone to order breakfast.

y/n's pov

"Whatcha orderin'?" I asked, taking a peak at Jungwon's phone."Ah, just some Curry Rice. Do you want something?" His eyes nictate. "Hmm, would egg drop soup be fine?" I responded. "Yeah, sure. Any drinks?" He looked up at me. "Mmm, just a mango smoothie." I grabbed my phone, startled by the millions of texts from Ailee and Sunoo. "Wow you're so healthy." Jungwon rolled his eyes.

"Foods here." Jungwon placed all the food on the table. "Ah, thanks for ordering today." I smiled. 
^ after eating ^
"Jungwon, I have to go ok-"
"There's an upcoming storm, you should probably stay here." Jungwon suggested. "Eh?! A storm... I have to work though, you too. You have a comeback this week, Jungwon." I stated. "I could always practice here, plus it's dangerous outside. You could get sick." He looked up at me with worry. "... Fine. I don't have an umbrella or money with me right now, so i'll stay here. I have no clothes though, and my outfit last night isn't comfortable to be lounging around all day." I sighed. "Just borrow my hoodies, it might be big on you though." He eyed down at my body, "Yeah it's gonna look like a hoodie dress. " His cheeks were tinted pink, how cute. "Mmm, ok. Could you lend me one then?" I sat down on the couch. "Sure." Jungwon walked to his room. 
Waiting for him to come back, I play with his google speaker, and play my playlist. His password to his internet is still the same. Weird, haha. I hum to the beats of "Hands Up!" by 6arelyhuman while waiting. "Put your fucking hands up when we walk in the club-- Spending all night with some pretty rave sluts." I softly sing. "I'm back, nice music." Jungwon smiled warmly "Oh, you're back. That's my playlist. I'm totally not creepy for still memorizing your password for the wifi-" I sweat.  "Lowkey that is creepy- but it's fine. You're not gonna hack my internet, right?" Jungwon looked at me intensely. "Of course not, I don't know how to do that hacking stuff anyway."  "Mmm, ok fine. Go change now." He continued to vibe to my music. How is he so good in singing, like what the fuck.

"Jungwon, I'm bored." I pouted. "Umm, we can't do much. You hear how loud the storm is-" The thunder cut Jungwon off. It roared like crazy, so I covered myself in blankets. Being scared of thunderstorms is normal, but I still think I'm stupid for being scared of the loud sounds. "I forgot, you're scared of thunderstorms. Come here." Jungwon opened his arms, signaling for me to wrap my arms around his waist. I move over to him, and hug him tight. "How are you so calm?" I took in his warmth, are we really friends with benefits right now? "I need to be calm." He smiled warmly. "Jungwon, I have a question." I look at him in the eyes. "What is it? " He looked pretty perplexed. "Why do you still like me?" I looked down at the ground, sighing heavily. "Why do I like you? It's simple, Y/N. To put it to simpler terms, I was forced to leave you." Jungwon bluntly replied with a frown. I zoned out, soon realizing what he just said. "... What." My eyes averted back to his, widening more as the seconds fly by. "I think it's about time I explain."

( A/N: short chap. again :((. I'm trying to redeem myself this S.Y and do good unlike last yr, so that's why I'm dead. It's hard juggling studying for quizzes, doing modules, and running for student council 😭 I'm fine thoughhh. Chiller chapter today cause im not in the mood to write angst :)) Enjoy a little sweet time with Y/N and wonie while im in the mood to write fluff. ( A/N 2: As I've been editing more chapters, it has really hit me how much I've grown not only as a writer, but also how much this book has grown. when I wrote this, we were at 200 reads... now 2.5k? it's so crazy to me until now. I just can't grasp the amount of love this book has been receiving. tysm! )
