Aether put you down on one of the chairs while he sat on the chair beside you. Zhongli was sitting on the chair across the table and sipping on some tea. He looked up from his drink when he noticed Aether. "Ah, you're here. There's no need to order, I've already done so.What were Fluffy's results?" He said as he put down the cup. Aether explained what Albedo had said while Paimon appeared beside him and began inhaling the food on the table. "I see... I may have some more knowledge on that, but that can wait for another time." Zhongli said while putting a hand on his chin in thought. "Third round knockout is not for lightweights like those taverns in mondstadt. Here, the owner does not take such unorthodox orders as fruit juice." He said while giving Aether a plate of food. "Does that mean I can order wine?" Aether asked his eyes twinkling. "I ordered some wine fermented rice balls for you, if that counts." Zhongli said as Aether looked at the rice balls in disappointment. "I should have expected this..." Aether said with a deflated voice.

"If it is to your liking, dear customers, shall I tell you the tale of lady Ningguang's jade chamber?" The story teller asked the crowd of customers. "Hey, theres even a storyteller here! Great atmosphere!" Paimon said after inhaling a piece of stake like a vacuum. "Besides fine wine, the excellent ambience is the reason why this place is so well loved. But when I say ambiance, I refer to a different sorts than the teyvat travel guide uses to judge other establishments." Zhongli explained while you began to play with the chopsticks again. Instead of chewing, you used your paws to bat it around. You ignored the storyteller's story to try eating one of the foods. You stood up on your hind legs to bend over and grab a piece of shrimp. You sat back down and continued to eat it. "Why is the taste kinda bland?..." The shrimp still had flavour but it seemed to have been watered down by the oceanid or something. After a few minutes, you felt a shocking pain for a second and then you threw up the shrimp below the table. You coughed for a bit before looking at the shrimp on the floor.

You looked back up and noticed everyone was too interested in the story to notice you. You stood on your hind legs again to look at the food again. Looking at the shrimp, you noticed various seasonings were added to it. 'If there was salt or pepper then that would explain it.' (your cat wont do this if you feed them salt/pepper seasoned food don't give your cat salt/pepper seasoned food) You scratched behind your ear with your hind leg before loafing. "Tianquan Ningguang. Feels like we've been hearing this name a lot. Liyue locals talk about her, the fatui hate her, she's most likely the one who hid the exuvia, and we saw her at the rite of descension." Paimon said before pulling another plate of food closer and shoving away a completely empty and clean plate. "Huh, Paimon wonders what type of person she is." She said as your ears pricked up when you heard the sound of feet against the tiled roofs.

"At last I have found you. You who returned from jueyun karst." You looked up to see the cocogoat herself standing on the roof. "Who's there?!" Paimon shouted as she looked around for the source of the voice. "Paimon, we gotta go!" Aether said as he prepared to grab you and Paimon then dip. "Wait, I am not with the millelith, nor am I here to claim your bounty. However, I am an emissary of the liyue qixing. My name is Ganyu, secretary of the yuehai pavilion, and I have come specifically to meet you." Ganyu said as Aether and Paimon looked up at her. "Secretary?" Aether asked. You looked at the unused steak knife beside one of the plates. You stood up to pick it up and then turned your head to nudge open your backpack. You ignored Ganyu as you stored your first weapon that wasn't elemental attacks. 'I should've checked Albedo's lab for any of Klee's bombs...'

You continued to look around for anything to store since you realised that you could do that. You also realised your inventory was limited. 'I'll save it for weapons for now.' You took one more quick glance for any more items of violence. "Fluffy, we're going to the jade chamber!" You jumped down and followed Aether to Mt. Tianheng.
