I lay in my bed, tears streaming down my face. My head was pounding. It felt like my whole world was crashing down on me. My whole chest felt tight and I was struggling to breathe.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
"Come in" I sobbed.
It was Mia.
"Oh Emma! What happened?" She said pulling me into a hug.
"Me and Daniel....we...broke up", hearing the words come out of my mouth just set me off again.
"What why?"
I told her everything, bursting into tears every now and again.
When I had finished Mia pulled me in for another hug and told me that everything would be fine.
The sun was streaming through my blinds, when I realised I had school! Eek!
I pulled on my skirt, shirt, blazer, socks and shoes and hurried outside. It was freezing outside, but I knew I didn't have enough time to deliberate which coat to wear.
I arrived at school earlier than expected and was walking to maths when suddenly Daniel came up to me.
"Meet me here at 10:05"
"What? So you can kiss Mia in front of me again? Or embarrass me?"
"What? No. Just do it. Please." His said and his big brown eyes pleaded.
"Fine."
I strode into math watching the time carefully.
10:03. 10:04. 10:05!
My hand shot up.
"Miss I need a wee."
"Very well. Hurry though we're going to start quadratic equations soon!"
I hurried down the hall.
