"Now let see who gets to there first." James dared sam while rushing to the nearest forest at  the edge of their town. It was getting dark as the sun was setting behind the tall mountains of charlestone. Charlestone was a suburb town with happy and prosperous residents. As the two kids raced into the woods, the atmosphere got darker and darker behind them, and when they got approached the heart of the forest, james, who was ahead of sam, came into a sudden stop.
"Hey, wait!" James whispered as he blocked Sam's way.
"No way! I know your tricky games, not this time, looser."Sam refured while trying to make his way forward.
"Shhh! I'm serious dude listen carefully." James continued with a low tone."I hear something."
Sam now halfly convinced what he thought as one of James' conspiracies into winning race. Suddenly, the two heard rustling sounds from a nearby bush. They froze for a moment, and then suddenly James broke the silence."Let's check it out."
"Oh hell no!" Sam intercepted. "There is no way I'm going beyond here."
"Common, don't be such a freak."
"But it's far than we have to go, man."  Sam answered.
"It won't be that long, trust me." James replied as he began to creep towards the bush, and Sam hesitatedly followed behind.
When the two got past the bush, they came across a clear field with trees surrounding it.
"Wow! Never thought I'll come across something beautiful." James thought.
"That's it man there is nothing. Let's just go home." Sam muttered.
As soon as they  turned around, they realised shadows growing behind them, then Sam suddenly screamed,"Runn!"
The two kids started running on their way back towards the forest's exit. James was faster than Sam but couldn't manage to escape as he tripped over an outcropped root and fell down. Sam, being horrified, didn't stop nor turned around to help his friend, and  as James struggled to get up, something behind him started pulling him back, and effortless struggle he dissappeared somewhere into the darkness.
