The follow and DM

When I got home, all I could think about was Shawn and how amazing he was. He is so sweet and cute and perfect and uugghh! I am now laying down on my bed staring at the ceiling until my phone buzzed. I grabbed it and looked at the screen. It was a Twitter notification. '@ShawnMendes followed you'. I froze for a second. Could it really be him? Did he actually follow me?! I quickly unlocked my phone and clicked on Twitter and went to his profile. Sure enough right next to his name it said 'follows you'. Oh my gosh! He really did follow me! I called Gizelle IMMEDIATELY! "Hello?" She asked confused. "Are you almost here? I have some AMAZING news!" I said a little fast. "Yeah I literally just pulled up. Now calm down hoe Ill be up in a sec!" She said jokingly and hung up. I smiled at how our friendship is. I heard the front door open and close. She has a key because she practically lives here. Then my bedroom door flies open and she comes and dives into my bed. "Spill it!" She said smiling. I told her every detail from when I left my house to when he followed me. "Wow! I'm so happy for you!" She said supporting it all even though she probably doesn't care much. That's why I love Gizelle. She acts interested and listens well even if she doesn't care. My phone buzzed again. Twitter. '@ShawnMendes DMed you.' I unlocked my phone and clicked on Twitter and went to my DMs. I clicked on Shawn's message. 'Hey cutie sorry I didn't get to talk to you more earlier but at least we can talk now! :)' Oh my gosh I think I just died! I screamed making Gizelle literally fall off the bed causing me to laugh. "What the hell? What is wrong with you ya bitch!" She laughed. I laughed again and showed her my phone unable to speak. "Well reply stupid!" She yelled. She sat next to me and I began to type. 'Hey handsome! I wasn't expecting a DM tbh! But yeah we get to talk more. That's awesome! :)' I sent it and locked my phone only to hear it buzz like 7 minutes later. It was another message from Shawn. 'Yass! Lol of course I would DM you! Who wouldn't? I hope we can meet up while I'm here. I'll be here for about 2 and a half weeks. ;)' did he just? Oh my gosh! Gizelle noticed my expression and read the message. Even she was shocked with excitement. "Say yes! Say yes!" She squealed. So that's what I did. 'Of course when do you wanna hang out? Just give me the deets and I'll be there! :)' I was so excited. He responded quicker this time like 4 or 5 minutes this time. 'How about tomorrow? We can meet at Starbucks around 12:00pm? :P' I smiled at his cuteness. 'Sounds great! Can't wait! I would love to stay and talk to you but I gotta go to sleep. Sorry! Good night handsome I'll see you tomorrow okay?' In less than 3 minutes he responded. Dang! 'Okay cutie that's okay! I do too tbh lol. See you tomorrow! Good night! :P' I smiled. I got up and changed into black yoga shorts and a big Shawn Mendes t-shirt. I walked into my room to see Gizelle already passed out in my bed. I laughed and walked into the bathroom and washed my face and brushed my teeth. I walked back into my room and laid down on the unoccupied side of the bed which is my usual side and plugged in my phone and set an alarm. I can't believe I have a date with Shawn tomorrow! Maybe it's not a date? Whatever but I get to hang with him tomorrow which is more than what I ever hoped for. And with that thought on my brain I fell asleep.
