The suprise

As I opened my eyes I realize it's Saturday. And my 16th birthday.Thank god I don't have school today! I reach over on my night stand and grab my phone. I opened up Twitter. I favorite some birthday tweets. As I scroll through I see a tweet from Shawn saying he will be coming here to Houston in a week. Shawn Mendes. I only dream of meeting him. He is my inspiration my everything. His music has helped me through so much. I see all the tweets from other people saying they are going to the show. Some even say they are gonna meet him. I sigh knowing I can't meet him.. I get up and go into my bathroom and take a quick shower. When I'm done I dry off and blow dry and straighten my long blonde hair and do my makeup. Then I go to my closet and choose a loose green shirt with a white tank top underneath and black leggings. I also decided to wear some white pearl bracelets. I slip on my brown Uggs. I walk downstairs and head towards the kitchen. I see my mom and dad sitting at the table drinking their coffee. I grab a chocolate chip muffin and pour some orange juice. I sit at the table and start eating. My mom and dad look at me and smile. "Good morning birthday girl!" My mom says happily. Ugh my parents always make a big deal about my birthdays. I know I know it's because I was born on this day. "Do you feel older?" My dad asked In a sarcastic tone. I shake my head. "Nope." I made sure to pop the 'p'. He laughed. I couldn't help but smile as they put a blue bag on the table. I pulled the pink tissue paper out and saw a black crop top. I unfolded it and it said #MendesArmy with a blue and black peace sign emoji haha my mom must of gotten it customized as a crop top. Then I see a box. I take it out and untie the bow. I take the lid off and see 2 Hershey bars taped together. I looked at me parents. "Is this a fat joke?" I said jokingly. My parents laughed. "No Angel look closely." My mom said still laughing a little. I looked and saw a tab between the two chocolate bars. It said 'pull me'. So I did. It was tickets. My heart jumped as I read what it said. Shawn Mendes. I froze for a minute, just staring at them. When I processed what was happening tears were coming from my eyes. I'm glad my makeup is waterproof. I got up and hugged my mom and dad. " THANK YOU SO MUCH!" My parents were smiling. I'm so happy. "Honey there is more" my mom handed me an envelope. I opened it an it was a meet and greet pass. I screamed and more tears fell from my eyes. I hugged my parents again. I took out my phone an took a picture and posted it on Twitter tagging Shawn in it. ' OMG I LOVE MY PARENTS! #BestBirthdayEver I can't believe I finally get to meet him! @ShawnMendes ' .. I can't believe I am meeting him in a week.
