*3rd pov*

Ganyu was sitting at her desk doing her usual job. She had a pile of paper works to do and she was ready to compile them as any other day but something else was on her mind.
"Ugh...why can't I just focus on these paper works" she asks herself, blushing as she thinks of him.
Who thought that the thought of her best friend could make her feel so many butterlflies in her belly?
She then tried not thinking about him and after a few hours, besides the struggles, she finished. It was almost 8pm and she was starting to feel sleepy. Before she could fell asleep she hears someone knocking at her door. She woke up and then went to the door and
as she opens it ,she saw Xiao
"Hi Ganyu, do yuo have any plans for tonight?" He asked
"Hi Xiao, I was just going to get ready to go home" Ganyu said trying to ignore the fact that her cheeks were probably beet red.
How could he manage to look this cool everytime?!
"Do you wanna come to my house?" Xiao asked looking away.
Ganyu's cheeks were even more red now but she managed to shake her head up and down to answer him with a yes.

*At Xiao's house*

"There, make yourself comfortable, I'm going to see if I have something to eat in the fridge. You can go take a shower if you want, just use one of my t shirts" Xiao said heading towards the kitchen.
Ganyu then headed towards the bathroom to take a shower as Xiao suggested her to do.

*After they both had dinner and showered*

"Hey ganyu, do you want to watch a film maybe?" Xiao asked turning his face towards ganyu's.
The girl yawned and said "I'm sorry Xiao I'm too tired from todays amout of work. Could we go to sleep instead?"
"Yes of course" Xiao said.
But something came on ganyu's mind that made her feel perfectly awake now.

They were going to share a bed.

"There, make yourself comfortable" Xiao said as he placed himself to the other side of the bed.
Ganyu was a bit disappointed and who knows if it was because of how sleepy she was feeling or because she didn't wanted to lose this opportunity.

"can you hug me while we sleep?"

Xiao's cheeks turned pink but then again who was he to deny cuddles to her best friend?
"Of course" Xiao said as he gently wrapped his arms around her waist and pressed himself against her back.
"Ganyu can you turn around?" He asked.
Ganyu panicked at this question because her whole face and body felt like it was on fire in that moment but then she remembered that all the lights were off so he couldn't see her face anyway.
"yes..." she said as she turned around to face him and then snuggle her face in his neck.
The need of sleep then took over her and she feel asleep.
Xiao admired her peaceful face and before he fell asleep he placed a gentle kiss on her best friend's forehead.

"I love you so much"
