Devante's POV

"Yeah Puff, I just got here. I'm getting some gas before I head down to her house. Thanks for digging up the address and sliding it to me", I said to Puff on the other line of my cell phone. Drew wasn't lying when she said she was from a small, country-ass town. I've never been in a town so small, I could swear I've only seen two stoplights since I've been here.

"Don't tell Drew I was the one who gave you the address, she would kill me. I heard about that stunt you pulled at K-Ci's party man. That shit can't happen again De', forreal", Puff said sternly.

I shook my head and thought of a response, I was tired of everyone scolding me about that. I know I was wrong but I was angry and jealous. I have to work on my jealousy but I don't even know where to start.

"You're right Puff. I was wrong. I'm sorry. I love Drew, I really do. More than I've ever loved any girl. She's my whole world man", I replied truthfully.

"So treat her that way. Treat her as if she is your whole world. And trust her. Drew is one of the most honest people I've ever met. She's a pure soul, there's a big heart under those designer clothes and mean comments", he said.

"I know man, I'm gonna do the right thing. Man up and treat her the right way.", I replied.

"I heard about the ring. You know K-Ci's loud mouth ass can't hold water. Just make sure you start to handle your demons and your fears before you walk down that aisle bro. But that's Misa calling me, I'm spending Christmas with her and Justin. I'll talk to you later bro", he said.

"Later bro, have a great Christmas", I said as I hung up the phone.

I flagged down a mechanic at the gas station and asked him how to get to Drew's house. He told me it was right down the road to the left, the blue house with the white porch. I was finally about to see my main lady and make her my wife.

I glided Drew's new BMW down the dirt road and admired the beauty of her hometown. It was small, but it was lined with trees and flowers everywhere. It looked like the perfect place to grow up, a place where kids can run free and stay out all night playing around. I wouldn't mind building her a house here, raising some kids. Finally, I saw the blue house with the white porch and pulled in. I knew it was the right house because I saw Drew sitting in one of the white rocking chairs, her curly hair wild, she was barefoot with a plaid nightgown on. Even fresh out of bed she looked breathtaking.

As I pulled into the driveway, I saw her stand up and cover her mouth with her hand. Clearly, my surprise worked.

"Donald! How on earth did you get here? You bought a new car? Baby, you already have three cars!", she said as she walked down the stairs towards me.

"Well, I got here by car obviously. It was a nice drive from New York. And this isn't my car actually", I said as I stepped out and walked towards her.

Drew embraced me and for a moment all my fears and anxiety melted away, why did I need to be jealous when I knew she loved me with her whole heart? I just need to man up and fight those intrusive thoughts that have me questioning my baby girl.

"Is this a rental? Why does it have temp tags?", she asked as she let me go and walked around the car.

"Well, it would have been hard to drive with a bow on it. But... this is your Christmas present. Merry Christmas baby", I said smoothly handing her the keys.

"Devante! What the hell! You bought me a car?!", Drew yelled. By now, there were four people on the porch. An older man, who I assumed is her grandad, her younger brother who I knew from the pictures all over her bedroom, an older black woman, and a younger version of the older black woman.
