The house was everything I expected—beautiful.
How could an expensive home not have just as expensive things inside? The inside had black marble floors, matching the theme of this emo man, and the kitchen was huge, the size of my room back home. After being shown the rooms below, he brought me up the stairs.
"Ladies first," He said with a smirk.
I walked up the marble stairs. There were so many paths, hallways and rooms, I didn't know where to go, what to open or where to start.
"If I move in, which one is mine?"
"Follow me," He said, passing in front of me to follow behind.
"If you move in, this will be yours."
He moves out of the door for me to step in. Wow, the place was five times the size of the room I was staying in before. It had a large black couch with a TV in front; forward was a massive king sized bed; a door beside it was open, leading to a black walk-in closet.
"God, this could all be mine," I said to myself.
"You like it?" He says.
"I know nothing about you," I said.
"Here, let me sum it up for you: my name is Charles, but everyone calls me Chase. I own my own business, and as you already guessed, I have quite a bit of money."
I let out a laugh. "quite a bit?"
"Yes or no?"
"Yes," I say, getting close to him.
He doesn't step back as I hug my hands around his chest; he does the same, hugging me around my neck.
"Thank you," I said quietly, hoping he could hear.
After we walk down the street, he offers me lunch; I couldn't decline his private chef's food. He made us some pasta, and god, that tasted so good.
"Thank you for the meal," I say, standing up, about to head to the door.
"You're leaving?" he says.
"I need to grab my things."
Suddenly his phone and mine start beeping. I check my phone to find out about a huge thunderstorm coming soon and to not be outside and to find shelter as quickly as possible.
"I guess you can't leave," he says with a smirk, smiling.
