Celeron, due to Doctor Gero's and Miyu's plan, was stuck in Hell, forced to face off against the enemies of his past: Cell, Cooler and Frieza... Although, only Frieza arrived to fight. Celeron had transformed into Super Saiyan 4, but... Frieza showed his newfound transformation when he was in Hell.

Golden Frieza: I decided to keep this form simple so you can understand who's standing at the top of the pecking order. You may call me... Golden Frieza. As I am now, you have no hope of beating me!!!
Their battle continued on... And just as Frieza predicted, Celeron was shortly overpowered by the golden emperor. In a moment, the other two had arrived... Cooler showing the same form as Frieza demonstrated... It was clear... Celeron was doomed. And so were his friends.
Cooler: Look, Celeron. Our revenge will finally end. But your death just won't cut it. You'd go to the afterlife, train and get back stronger. We want your death... to be permanent!
Cell: Therefore... I shall absorb you. An eternal limbo seems like a fitting punishment.
Celeron: . . . (I can't. . . see. I can't. . . move.)
Cell closed in on Celeron and started absorbing him... And undergone one more transformation.
