Chapter 7: "I want the side of you that you don't show anyone else."

Calem booked a two-bedroom Bourbon balcony luxurious suite at Soneta hotel which was located on the Bourbon Street. It was elegant. Furthermore, it has a perfect view of the popular street from our balcony. 

We just rested a bit before going to our first destination which was the oldest cathedral in North America, the St. Louis Cathedral. It was stunning. Whenever I travel, I always make it a point to visit a church first. 

I leaned towards him and whispered, "Make a wish, lovey."

He gave me a sideways glance with a raised brow.

"Sabi nila kapag first time mo sa isang simbahan, make a wish and it would come true."

His mouth just twitched, obviously didn't believe me. Inilahad ko ang kamay sa kanya. His eyes went down to my palm then back to my face. 

"Let's make a wish together. Wala naman mawawala kung paniniwalaan natin."

He breathed out and held my hand. "All right."

I gave him a big smile then closed my eyes to make a wish.

Lord, giving me Calem is one of the biggest blessings You have given me. And now, I can't imagine living life without this amazing gift. Please let our love for each other last for eternity. 

"What did you wish for?" he asked.

I looked into his eyes. "It's between God and I."

He just smiled. 

Afterwards, we went to the French Quarter which is one of the most visited places in New Orleans for its buildings and architecture. I was just in awe while exploring it with Calem holding my hand. I loved it so much, but the best part of the day for me was when he took me to the filming locations of The Originals. My mouth parted as I scanned the place.

"Lovey!" I cried as I whirled around to face him.

Honestly, I've always wanted to visit the filming locations of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals because I'm a fan. So, when Calem said that we'd go to New Orleans, I wanted to tell him about it, but I was too shy thinking that he would find it 'baduy'. 

He tilted his head on one side with a soft smile. That made me run to him and give him a big hug. 

"I'm over the moon, lovey! You have no idea how happy you've made me today!"

He chuckled and hugged me back. Bahagya pa niya akong iniangat.

"Seryoso, lovey. Sobrang saya ko! Nakikita ko lang ito sa TV dati tapos ngayon napuntahan ko na siya. I'm finally having The Original moment!" Hinigpitan ko ang yakap sa kanya at hinalikan siya sa pisngi. "Thank you, lovey! Sobrang thank you!"

Bahagya akong humiwalay sa kanya ng may maalala. "Wait. Paano mo nalaman?"

"I know how crazy you are over those vampire series. So, I figured you'd love to visit the filming locations."

There were those nights I wouldn't stop talking about those series. "Aww... You remember! Thank you, lovey! I love you!" I tiptoed and kissed him on the lips. "Sobrang kinikilig ako!"

He raised his brow. "Sa akin o dito?"

I grinned and answered, "Both?"

He chuckled then said, "How about some photos to complete your Original moment?"

I squealed, thrilled to be photographed in one of my dream locations to visit. Afterwards, he made my day a lot better by taking me to the other filming locations of The Originals. And for that, I appreciated him so much.
