After we landed on the MCS Dawn medics ran to the window to grab John and got him to the medbay as for me and Ray we were greeted by Kaleb.
Kaleb: Ray and Carver your with me.
Carver: yes sir. *I said giving a quick salute*
Ray: with you sir.
We followed Kaleb to one of the restricted sections of the ship where we saw more of these soldiers dressed completely in black. Who where these soldiers? We continued following Kaleb until we got to the armory.
Kaleb: give the armorer your armor then follow me.
With that me and Ray went into are separate changing rooms and got out of are combat gear putting on an undersuit given to us by the armorer it was a standard uniform but it was all black. After I got changed I met up with Ray and Kaleb where he showed us around the place.
Kaleb: this part of the ship is home to the best soldiers the MCS Dawn has to offer and the MCS Dawn is the only ship with this type of soldier.
Ray: and what kind of soldier is that sir?
Kaleb: glad you asked. This is the home of the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers or ODST for short.
Carver: what makes them special from normal ground soldiers?
Kaleb: the ODST have a motto "Feet First Into Hell." The ODST are special operations soldiers typically sent behind enemy lines and on silent operations.
Ray: why are you telling us now?
Kaleb: because you two have been selected to join the ODST after proving your skill on Erberus you will be under the command of 1ST Lt Buck and you will do as he says understood.
Ray: understood. *She says giving a stiff salute*
Carver: aye sir. *I say saluting*
Kaleb: at ease. Head to your barracks.
After he said that we left and found are barracks with Buck a soldier by the name of Simmons his codename being Red and another soldier named Micky codenamed Heavy.
Red: what's up.
Heavy: welcome.
Buck: good to see you guys.
Carver: good to see you sir.
Ray: nice to meet you guys.
Buck: cut the sir shit Im not that old.
Carver: aye.
Ray: ok.
Heavy: given my name I'm the heavy weapons expert.
Red: and I'm the recon specialist.
Buck: clearly I keep you guys in line but I'm the tech expert.
Ray: I'm Ray I'm an expert marksman.
Carver: I'm Carver I'm a demo expert trained in hand to hand combat.
Red: welcome to team Inferno.
Buck: your bunks are over there. *He says pointing to a bunk bed*
Ray: Dibs on top.
Carver: dammit.
Ray: *laughs* sucks to suck.
With that me and Ray went to go gather are stuff from are old rooms and get them into the ODST barracks. We were given ID's to get in and out of the ODST barracks. When me and Ray got to are old rooms we gathered are stuff.
Ray: you think the rest of the riflemen will miss us?
Carver: maybe.
Ray: probably best not to dwell on it.
Carver: probably.
With that me and Ray grabbed are bags and headed back to the ODST barracks.
