"Sir we managed to get the phantom, but we also found a small child. She can't be older than two, and she managed to somehow take the blot out of her mother."
"What condition is her mother in?"
"Sir, this child is only one alive. Both her parents overblotted and I guess her mother had died before she took the blot out."
"Bring her in, we'll figure something out."

"It had been six years since Oceana was brought into the S.T.Y.X. facility, and six years since the experiments on her started. Due to her being half demon, specifically high ranking demon, she doesn't make near as much blot as other kids her age. She also seem to be able to purify blot and phantoms, which she can do with ease.
Her personality though is one that the staff has always had problems with. She stubborn, argumentative, cold, and mean half the time, but sweet, kind, caring, and warm the other half of the time," the researcher said as he looked up from his clipboard. He sighed as he looked down at the small blue haired boy in front of him and the boy furrowed his eyebrows. "Have you tried introducing her to kiss her age?" The boy asked.
"I mean no offense when I say this, but you and Ortho are the only two children here that are close to her age. She's eight and currently in a very bad mood," the researcher said. The boy shrugged and grabbed the game he had off the table. It was a new board game he had just gotten last week. "You said earlier that she seems to like games, right?" the boy asked. The researcher nodded his head and furrowed his eyebrows. "I did, why?" he asked. "Maybe she'll like this new game I have, I already played it a few times with Ortho and we both liked it. So maybe she will to, maybe it'll cheer her up," the boy said with hope. The researcher sighed and shook his head. There was no arguing with this boy on this subject. Instead he just sighed and told the boy which room Oceana was in. The boy nodded his head and ran off to the room. Once he left, the researcher sighed and leaned back in his chair. "Oceana, you sure are a hassel to deal with. But I'm glad you now have me instead, I promise I won't hurt you like the last one did," the researcher said as he looked at her paperwork.
Meanwhile, a small girl, with hair that reminded those around her of the sea and eyes as dark as amber, sat alone in her room. She wasn't too happy with anything that was going on today. She was just recently assigned a new researcher to watch over her and he just wouldn't leave her alone. She didn't want a new researcher, she wanted to leave and get out of here. Of course, she also didn't want to do anymore experiments and she certainly didn't want that stupid collar on anymore. It made her feel like a pet more than anything else. She tugged at the collar as she thought about it and groaned when it still didn't come off. She tossed herself onto her bed and looked up at the ceiling. Everything was white in her room, she couldn't stand it. "I'm so bored," she mumbled to herself. Of course, one might argue that she could read any of the books that she had in her room or that she could sleep. But she had read all of her books at least three times in just the past two weeks and she had way too much energy to sleep anyways. Besides, she'd just be plauged with nightmares of the phantoms that she always saw, including the ones of her parents.
Suddenly, there was a knock on her door. She sat up and looked at it. It was strange, no one normally knocked on her door, they just always came in. She got off her bed and walked over to the door. As she was about to press the button to open it, there was another knock. She pressed the button and the opened door revealed a pale boy with blue hair on the other side, holding a box of some sort. "Can I come in?" The boy asked.
Oceana simply nodded her head and moved out of the way for the boy to come in. The boy walked in and looked around the room. "I thought they'd at least let you do what you wanted with the room," he said, turning to face her. She closed the door and furrowed her eyebrows at the boy. "Why did you come here? Didn't anyone tell you that I'm 'dangerous'?" She asked, putting quotation marks around dangerous.
She wasn't dangerous, she didn't want to hurt anyone nor would she hurt anyone. "Well yes, but I don't think you're dangerous or always angry. I just think you're lonely," he said. She blinked at him and was taken back. "You're not wrong. I don't have anyone so I guess you could say I am lonely," she said. He smiled at her, showing all his sharp teeth, as he held out the box. She looked at it and her eyes brightened up. It was a board game, a new one at that. "Do you wanna play this with me?" He asked. She looked up at him and smiled brightly, showing off her fangs. She nodded and the boy cheered a little bit.
They were soon sitting down across from each on the floor, playing the game together. She felt happy and calm for the first time in forever. She actually had a friend now, one who liked games like her. "I never did get your name," Oceana finally said as she threw the dice on the board. "Oh, it's Idia. Idia Shroud," the boy said. She smiled up at him and he smiled back. "Well Idia, you're now my best friend in the entire world," she said. "And I'll do anything to make sure we stay like that," he replied back.
